SilentDays
It was an amazing show. Dig the navy blue shirts they had there too. Wish Kidsmoke came out of a little more noise, they sort of fell into it slowly but dug the synth back and forth they did.
Stefanie
this show was incredible! i was really upset last fall when i opted out of the dallas show that was happening right before ACL because they played "it's just that simple". i was bitter about that one for a long time. you should have seen the smile on my face when i heard the opening notes to that song. indescribable! it was the one song that i really had to hear. it's been a rough week and that all melted away during this show. it was definitely in the top 2 or 3 wilco shows i've seen. i bought both posters because i'm a sucker and i couldn't make a decision. i can't wait for tomorrow (i guess it's technically tonight). i never really have any doubt about these guys but seeing a show like this just confirms why i love them so much. and i love how receptive they are to the fans! the energy on both parts was fantastic! also, they went on around 8:15 instead of 8:30 like stubb's said they would. that's something to take note of for tomorrow night. bleedorange
Definitely an incredible show. Probably the best I've ever seen them. Nels tore up That's Not the Issue and opening with Sunken Treasure has fulfilled my Wilco wishlist of songs to see live (it took 5 shows).
sky blue bats
the best show in austin ever. I've seen them over 5 times in austin and this was by far the best. the crowd was great you could hear a pin drop during sunken treasure!!! can't wait for tonight!!

hoodratfriend
Anytime they play "Just That Simple" I am envious. Not to complain, but I wish they would have played it in Albuquerque. Sounds like a great show out in Texas though. Hope it's another good one tonight, what am I saying it's Wilco, of course it will be a good show. Have a good one none the less Austin. aeneas7652
I was at this show too, best I have seen of them. In comparison to last time the instrumental work is on another planet. A friend of mine was there for one of the nights at the Riviera in February and was raving about their playing, so I was really pumped. I resisted DLing material from new shows once I had tickets so I could be surprised, and I was blown away by how good they were. They clearly enjoy Austin. If you have tickets for tonight's show, HAVE FUN. Warmest regards from a Chicago native transported to Austin.
H.Stone
That first encore looks sublime.
junkiesmile
Hoodoo Voodoo with Pat and Nels dueling on guitars was a highlight for me. They looked like they were having a blast and Jeff was just laughing at them.
bleedorange
That first encore looks sublime. It was as good as it looks on paper. The dueling guitars on Hoodoo Voodoo was also an unexpected surprise. I haven't been listening to any recent shows either, and that was definitely a highlight of the second encore.
SilentDays
I think tonight's show was even better. Awesome setlist, I was in the middle frontish and it was quite good, ended with I Got You and Monday.
