W(TF)
I have to agree with those stating Tweedy is my favorite - always loved Dylan, but it is in some ways a personal thing. Whose lyrics or music affected you the most or seemed to speak to you. Hands down for me, JT. Well said, I feel the same. Part of it is the age, I wasn't born in '63, much less been "the right age". Yes, Freewheelin' blew my mind the first time I listened to it (somewhat later in life), but it didn't change my life. When I got into Wilco, my feeling was very much "this is MY music". Guest Cousin Tupelo
The fact that it would be about a 20 to 1 margin if this were on any other band's message board. Would Jakob Dylan's message board be 50 to 1?
TheMaker
I was born in '79. When I discovered Dylan in earnest 20 years later, I felt much the same way. This is definitely my music, and it'll resonate for many more folks for decades yet to come.
