Analogman
Much like The Byrds recording new songs on the boxset some years back - they are doing this to claim the name Bad Company. I think some of the dudes who were in the band after Paul left are planing to tour using the name Bad Company - and thus, the original guys are trying to stop them. That is, minus Boz Burrell, who died a few years ago. The various versions of the band.

stooka
No doubt, Paul Rodgers has got what it takes to make this an incredible show and it doesn't hurt any that the band has something to prove. It'd be great if they played stuff like this too! Call on MeMovin' OnRun With The PackReady For LoveSeagull
Analogman
Also - possibly one of the only bands on the Swan Song label to have any lasting success.

Analogman
he did a nice short run with Jimmy Page in 1984 with The Firm I had the first album - never heard the second one. Of course, there is also Free - Be My Friend (1970 Isle of Wight Festival). In the stack of Circus magazines I have from 74/75, there are several features about Bad Company. lamradio
I saw them a decade ago in Charlotte, NC. It was a great show and Paul could still sing his balls off.
mountain bed
he did a nice short run with Jimmy Page in 1984 with The FirmI saw them here then. Good times. Weird, I've seen Plant with his band ('85/'86), Page with The Firm, and JPJ opened for King Crimson in '01 but I never got to see Zep.

suites
i've only seen Page/Plant (their last shows of the No quarter tour) Plant Solo (x4)Page SoloFirm (x2)Page / Plant (x2) I was too young for LZ otherwise I would have been there. Even if they "reunite" it won't be Led Zeppelin....that band died when John Bonham Died....no doubt.

froggie
if they use Jason as a drummer, i wouldnt mind too much if they call themselves Led Zeppelin. However, using Phil Collins as a drummer for Live Aid in 85,

Analogman
I use to have about all of them from early 80s - they are long gone though. The ones I mentioned above were given to me by a friend of mine.
suites
Have you heard a recording of their latest concert? Yes, I have listened to at least 7 different recordings of it. I agree it was awesome and I would pay big $$$$ to see it but............. You can't replace John Bonham and you can't re-create a time and place. That being said I am praying for a US tour....we shall see. If they do tour I hope they dont do what the police and VH did (same sets every night) but I am sure they will so something sililer to thoses tours. Maybe a song or 3 a night different.
