wheelco
Hi everyone, sorry I'm not around much these days. One great CD I picked up recently is Human Highway's "Moody Motorcycle" - it's the product of two of our favorite Canadians Jim Guthrie and Nick Thorburn (Islands, Unicorns). Fortunately, it's much more direct than the Islands stuff, very different indeed. I love the disc, and thought others here might too. It was actually released in August I believe - I just got it last month. My favorite tracks are "Duties of a Lighthouse Keeper", "What World", "Ode to Abner" and of course the opener "The Sound". Any other fans? If not, check it out . . .

Kalle
I thought it was 'decent' at best, pretty boring and sleepy imo.
lizish
I thought it was 'decent' at best, pretty boring and sleepy imo. ditto. I get a Seals and Croft or Loggins and Mesina vibe. Boring ass 70s folk-pop.
TCP
The opening track was very good, it was all down hill from there.
wheelco
Okey Dokey -- so that's a big thumbs downer . . . I still like most of it, it is a little sleepy, but I need some tunes like that. Seals & Croft it's not, though.
Lodestar
The opening track was very good, it was all down hill from there. Could not agree more. Exactly how I felt about it.
