blureu
I grabbed a couple of recent Chuck Prophet shows off dime and have been enjoying them. Which leads to the inevitable question...Where should I start with his recordings? the most recent disc?
bböp
I might humbly recommend No Other Love, his 2002 release on New West. I think that was the first Prophet solo record I picked up (after seeing him open for someone...maybe Old 97's?) and I really dug it. "Summertime Thing" from that disc is a great song. He also put out some sort of tribute to Waylon Jennings fairly recently that I picked up but haven't had a chance to listen to yet...

Jay
Never heard his solo stuff so that may be the best place to start, but eventually check out Green On Red.
