Steve 413
So i might have missed if there was a discussion about this already...i couldn't find it on the forum... But the Keyspan Park show on Coney Island is right off of the actual Mermaid Avenue, stomping grounds of the one and only woody! Just a thought, maybe they'll break out some more mermaid ave tunes? You're right, would be the right time to rock out a "new" Mermaid tune or two. Last summer's show at McCarren Park Pool in Brooklyn was outstanding. I recall they played Blood of the Lamb second after opening with Via Chicago. It was killer. SPA

jokin' dealer
If you're brave enough, the houses on the cover of Mermaid I are in the 2800 block (between 28th and 29th) on the south side of the street. Just east of the First Baptist Church of Coney Island. They don't quite look the same as they did 10+ years ago.
