kewi
Hi there, I was wondering if anyone knows where I can pick up a copy of this DVD without giving up my first born. Everywhere I seen this thing is $50+ and that's even for used copies! Just curious if it's worth pursuing. I can only assume it's been deleted. Any info would be great. Thanks! Analogman
That's ridiculous. You can get a VHS copy for 5 or 6 bucks.
lamradio
Do you have Netflix? It's available there.. Thats how I got to see it. It was pretty good, worth the rental, but not worth purchasing IMO.
Wendy
try this: http://www.google.com/products?q=man+in+th...d+dvd&hl=en
Analogman
Some of those are going to be listed as: For Sale Backordered since 3/8/2009 Or they may not play in a DVD player in this country - the region deal.
sweetheart-mine
that's too bad. i don't know what happened. saw it on ovation tv and got it very reasonably priced via amazon in late 2007. i watched it over and over . . . until the sunken treasure dvd arrived in my mailbox. Analogman
Good to see you post. I bought it when it came out on VHS, I loaned it out to someone who never returned it to me. I got another copy of it by way of GregRVA. You would think with a new Wilco DVD coming out, this would be a good opportunity to sell Man In The Sand, I Am Trying to Break Your Heart - A Film About Wilco, and Jeff Tweedy - Sunken Treasure - Live in the Pacific Northwest to those who bought the new DVD. So it would be nice if it was available on DVD. But at least people can still get the VHS copy of it.
jcroach
Long shot: If you just want to see it, try your library. If they don't have it, they might be able to get it inter-library loan. Or, get it directly from the Woody Guthrie Archives: http://woodyguthrie.org/mm5/merchant.mvc?S...tegory_Code=DV5 $26. Looks like its available too.
Analogman
Well now, I wonder why that didn't come up in a Google search. OR maybe it did.
