LouieB
Forgive my ignorance, but when did Tweedy play with the BRox, and is there a recording out there? Not ignorance....yes he did, during the Gary Scheppers benefit series a couple years ago. Jeff played on three songs and someone somewhere does have a recording...(but NOT me... I was not there but i did hear it.) It was the first time they had played together since the AM sessions. Analogman
Is this the show? Wilcobase-->Date of Show-->Scroll down-->Audio Sources-->Download this show from the Wilco Archive @ Owl and Bear Ok - that's not the show that Jeff plays with The Bottle Rockets. I guess we don't have that one at The Wilco Archive. Edited May 7, 2009 by Analogman

Analogman
There is that, but I don't see any Bottle Rockets shows listed at db.etree for January 2006. It could be somewhere, I suppose.
poppydawn
I don't have a recording of that one, but it seems like I've heard it. Could be wishful thinking on my part.
Analogman
I'll check Postcard's FTP site later on, and see if it is there.
Rusty Shackleford
I'll check Postcard's FTP site later on, and see if it is there. Is that working? I subscribed to their mailing list, but I've not been able to get to the FTP site.
Analogman
It's been a while since I have checked it.
LouieB
If there is a recording of this on the net I would be surprised . I believe the show was at Schubas but I could be wrong. LouieB
Analogman
I just looked. There are several Bottle Rockets shows at the Postcard FTP site, but not the January 2006 show.
LouieB
They played three songs together...something from AM and maybe a Neil Young song or something. It was a total surprise that Jeff showed up (although it was the one time he would of showed up for them since everyone was feeling generous toward Gary...who incidently is doing great.) aricandover
There you go...you must be on possession of the recording....I knew it was Wilco and Neil, just couldn't remember how much of what. LouieB nah, I don't have a recording, I just watch the youtube videos from the show.
