deron11
Who's going to this show? Anyone have any inside info about the show? How to get the best view, etc. Just curious. I am busting my Wilco cherry next weekend.

hottuna
Should be great. Hope the weather holds. It has been a rough summer so far on that front. I posted in the other East coast thread about his venue wondering if this is the first live act there? The set up should be interesting. Think anyone will pull over and throw on the hazards on 95 lol

Anyhow, I'll be there with 5-6 other friends in tow. Can't wait, let's pray this daily thunderstorm pattern takes a break. We're planning on meeting up at Iron Hill Brewery (next to the stadium) preshow for dinner, etc... As far as other shows at Frawley, there have been a few. If you search online you'll get the website of the stadium owners listing a couple of the shows and showing pics of the layout.I would expect for this show we'd get the stage setup just behind 2nd base facing home plate. Nice thanks. Yea the Tuna kick ass so much fun. I will take a peak online to see a layout. I think it could be a fun site for a show. Should be a nice crowd pulling from Philly, NJ and MD. They filled the Tower a couple years ago and I would love to see this place full. Made the Opera house show last summer in De and that was just about the best concert I have ever seen. Cannot wait for next week!!!!!!!!

I don't think there are any hotels (at least yet) right there within walking distance. You may want to check out this website which gives info and a layout map of the area around the stadium.http://www.riverfrontwilm.com/

mechanical_bird
I'll be there with my dad. It's our 4th Wilco show together and last before I go away to college. I don't know how they'll ever top last years Delaware show, but I wouldn't put it past them. I can't wait.
Three dollars and 63 cents
I'll be there with two other VCers in tow. There are a handful of hotels downtown, about a five minute drive from the stadium, but this close to the show, it might be tough to find a deal.
Lancoman
I'll be rolling in from Lancaster. About 10 of us heading down from Amish Country in a Philly Eagles short bus....burgers and dogs before the show!!!
billydee
Well it looks like we'll get nearly perfect weather for this Friday night in Wilmington DE.
kinyark
Are they cool with tailgating at Frawley? We are hoping to go down a few hours early and drink in the parking lot.
The High Heat
You know you could just hang out under the interstate and listen for free. Or maybe pretend to go "shopping" at all those empty outlet stores across the parking lot from Frawley.

deron11
I'll be rolling in from Lancaster. About 10 of us heading down from Amish Country in a Philly Eagles short bus....burgers and dogs before the show!!! What part of Lancaster are you from, Lancoman? I only ask, cause I grew up in New Holland, graduated from Garden Spot HS in 1997. I don't know any other Wilco fans from that area, other than my brother.
KJAM
I'm not sure if this has been discussed yet, but just a heads up...tickets were sold for different seating locations. If your tickets say "Stands" you will not be allowed on the field and the reverse is true for the tickets that say "Field". I received mine through Wilco ticketing and received "Field" tickets, but a lot of people I know who got them through "The Grand" box office received "Stands" tickets. If you would prefer to be on the field, as I would assume most of you would, and have stands tickets then you might want to contact The Grand and see if you can swap them for field tickets. Not alot from the beginning but most jumped on board after YHF.
countfeed
When will people be getting there? When does the parking lot open? I want to be in the front row, so I am trying to figure out when I should get there. Thanks!
