uncool2pillow
I heard somewhere (from a FB friend I think) that he was gravely ill. RIP.
jff
I heard somewhere (from a FB friend I think) that he was gravely ill. RIP. I heard the same thing. What a bummer. I never read his boooks, but I listened to Angela's Ashes on tape a couple years ago (read by McCourt) during my commute and it was wonderful. His "Historic Pubs of Dublin" PBS special is really great, too.
PopTodd
They just re-ran his outstanding "Pubs of Dublin" special on Saturday night here on the Chicago PBS station. Damn. RIP.
Calexico
I heard somewhere (from a FB friend I think) that he was gravely ill. RIP. He must have re-read his depressing fucking "book" then.
austrya
I'm so sad that he died. Angela's Ashes is one of my favorite books.
