PopTodd
(+125 for delivery, over 4 blocks)The thing is in wonderful condition -- not a dead key across the entire keyboard, and the case doesn't have a knick.I bought it just in time, as there were a couple other people interested, included a piano teacher, who expressed her envy. Thing sounded great, too. I've been wanting one for a while, and I don't think that I'm gonna find a better deal than this. It's the kind of thing that I walk into Estate Sales and garage sales hoping to stumble upon. Can't remember the brand off-hand, but it sounds great and plays nicely, too. Ethan will finally have a decent instrument to practice on.
remphish1
Hey enjoy! I want a piano but don't have the space or means to move one if I found it. I will let you in on a little secret since you said you don't think you can find a better deal... Check the craigslist free section or freecycle.org tons of people dumping pianos because they are moving or don't have the space... http://chicago.craigslist.org/search/zip?query=piano&catAbbreviation=zip&minAsk=min&maxAsk=max Here is the Chicago free section. Lot of times the pianos need lots of work but hey they are free.

GtrPlyr
I'd love a piano. For now I'm stuck with my old Korg M1.

Guest Speed Racer
I didn't realize what a luxury it was to have a piano to play when I was a little kid. To me, it always sounded great. I probably stopped taking lessons when I was 10 or so,l playing it infrequently thereafter, and when my parents moved when I was 19 they joked that the piano salesmen only charged them $200 to sell it to him free. Guess it wasn't in as good of condition as I recalled. Either way, every key worked and boy did it make noise. Congrats on your purchase; playing around on the piano was one of the joys of my childhood.
Moss
My daughters started taking piano lessons at about 3 so we decided to go for it when we finally moved into a place where we could fit one. Now that my oldest is a teenager I have noticed that it is a huge stress reliever for her. When she gets upset or stressed she will sit down and play. That alone is worth what it cost. Now I just have to figure out a way to make myself learn it as well. We ended up buying a Charles Walter which I was told was good but have no idea really.
PopTodd
Okay, so it's a StarckHere are some photos that I got off of Google image: This is pretty much exactly what it looks like, although the owner told me that my piano is probably a 1962 or 1963 model and those photos are of a 1969.
