Vacant Horizon
http://blog.allmusic.com/2010/1/25/news-roundup-1252010/ concert for haiti. how great is this? so cool. i really need to try and get into these dudes. i've tried several times to no avail. however, i really really respect them and the way they work. a very intentional band from it's songwriting to its compassion. a popular band actually adding something meaningful to this world that is just pumped full of shit 24/7. Synthesizer Patel
you probably need to check out mother teresa's early albums whilst you're at it.
bobfrombob
The Button-Down Mind of Mother Teresa is a good starting point. Really, any of her earlier funny stuff.
m_to_the_c
They raised over $500,000 at the benefit show alone. All tickets were auctioned...

RaspberryJam
If you want to get into Radiohead, here's what worked for me. Put In Rainbows or The Bends on as background for a few rotations. Don't try to listen too hard. Then, when the music starts to sound a little familiar, turn it up to
Dude
And the setlist was pretty nice too: Setlist looks ridiculously cool, plus the new song. Of course, just about any setlist Radiohead plays is pretty great to me, they have so many good songs.
watch me fall
So apparently Justin Timberlake was there but he's not my new hero or anything.
okp greg
So apparently Justin Timberlake was there but he's not my new hero or anything. He's probably the one that only paid around $400 for a ticket of course.
jc4prez
He's probably the one that only paid around $400 for a ticket of course. Haha, I was sort of thinking the same thing in a way. Its kind of weak when you hear how many celebs with these huge bank accounts were there yet the highest donation was'nt even about 5,000. But really if you don't like them who cares? You can still respect their humanitarian efforts.
