KramkonG
Looking for the best processes/products for polishing all hardware on my Les Paul...specifically, the bridge and pick-up covers. I'm afraid of using a product that may affect the finish or the hardware itself...much appreciated.

Interesting...I would think lighter fluid would be harmful...I'll look into it...thanks. NOTE: I'm getting the feeling this post has been done before - If so, please be gentle. Moss
Lighter fluid sounds scary to me, plus it stinks. I have never had a problem with Gibson or Martin guitar polish. Seems to do the job quite well.
KramkonG
Screw it...I'll just buy a new one.
jimmyjimmy
I would think a little bit of toothpaste might bring out a shine; ( I don't really know where I'm getting this from, something in the back of my head that I picked up somewhere/sometime). Full disclosure: I gotta couple of old LPs and I don't polish them at all, so my advice is probably pretty useless overall. Buying a new one seems like a rational solution too tho.
