choo-choo-charlie
Apparently there were some early technical difficulties... http://www.spinner.com/2010/05/29/wilco-primavera-barcelona-review/
Magnetized
Wow, I had no idea about the earlier technical difficulties. How cool is it that they were able to vamp their way through?? And that article in the paper seemed to point to them as the highlight of the festival--if my Spanish translation was close to correct. That was in the face of some pretty heavy competition, too. wilcoclub
they had problems with the sound in the first songs.... the sound of the guitar and the voice of jeff were very low.... but after 4 or 5 songs the sound was perfect... you can enjoy photos and a great video of impossible germany in our group: http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=124040604273611
Plumplechook
you can enjoy photos and a great video of impossible germany in our group: http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=124040604273611 Thanks for the facebook link. That is indeed a superior version of Impossible Germany. Jeff has commented somewhere about Spanish audiences having a particular affinity to this song. http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=124040604273611#!/video/video.php?v=392678878229&oid=124040604273611
JAK2112
That might be the best rendition of Impossible Germany ive ever heard. Nels is always great, but he was absolutely demolishing that solo from beginning to end. Anyone noticed his Impossible Germany solos have been getting longer and longer? At this rate, the song will be 10 minutes long in five years. And i have absolutely no issue with that
