siegs39
Hey there, just wondering if a recording is circulating of the 2nd Montclair, NJ show (April 3). I saw Night #1 circulating on another thread but have not seen night 2. Please let me know -- it was my first show and I'd love to have a copy (and I loved the show). Thanks very much. Analogman
What you can do is search this section of the message board:Via Chicago>Greatest Lost Track of All Time These Bit Torrent sites:bt.etree.orgDime A Dozen.orgHunger City.orgPure Live Gigs.comThe Trader's Den.orgZomb Torrents.com Or check:Bootsdaily.comA site that searches well-known legal torrent sites. Use the search box to look for the band you are interested in finding. As far as I know, the show has not appeared.

Bummer about it apparently not circulating -- rumor was that someone had taped it -- but I'll check these out.
Analogman
I think there are around 29 shows from the past tour that have yet to appear.
hazel
montclair 4/3 and philly 4/
Rusty Shackleford
I'll add the Strathmore, North Bethesda, 3/30 to the uncirculated wish list. It's actually pretty stunning to me how many of these great "Evening With" shows haven't circulated. The Strathmore show was the 4th time I've seen Wilco in the past 3 years, and the first one I don't have a recording of. I guess I'm pretty spoiled.
bronxmetsfan
I've been wondering the same thing about the 4/3 show. The guys over at nyctaper.com had said they'd be posting it shortly after they posted the 4/2 show. They didn't record it but know the person who did. Haven't heard anything since then, but hopefully it surfaces sooner than later. The recording of my first Wilco gig at the Warsaw in Brooklyn took almost 4 months to show up, so you never know. suites
I think there are around 29 shows from the past tour that have yet to appear. Can't you give us something more than an estimate....we need exact numbers. I always round to 29 or
Analogman
I did a quick count on our Wilco Live Show Archive spreadsheet the other day, and that is what I came up with. It could be that I did not count the Jeff solo shows, but since most of those were benefit shows, I doubt we will see a tape from those shows anyhow.
bronxmetsfan
A recording exists! It's over at nyctaper.com. They wrote that it's not exactly a top notch bootleg, but four songs in it's sounding pretty damn good to me.
Yaz Rock
I also taped the show (both nights actually, though my night 1 is incomplete.) I recently sent my files to someone who knows the digital trading world better than I, and hopefully that recording will be uploaded in due time. Until then, here are some samples from both nights, in MP3 format. -Rob File Name: Wilco-2010-0403-30BoxFullOfLetters.mp3Size: 4.71MB |http://www.sendspace.com/file/zp9b3z File Name: Wilco-2010-0403-22-NotForTheSeasons.mp3Size: 8.84MB |http://www.sendspace.com/file/ouwn4f File Name: Wilco-2010-0402-07-ViaChicago.mp3Size: 7.78MB |http://www.sendspace.com/file/eii603 File Name: Wilco-2010-0402-03-BullBlackNova.mp3Size: 8.09MB |http://www.sendspace.com/file/vhbx88

Analogman
What program do I need to dowlad these? I get a message that Quciktime does not recognize these files? If you are talking about bit torrent - If you look at this thread: Bit Torrent and Related Links Audio file conversion, How-to, Wilco show lists, etc., you will probably find some answers. Basically, you need FLAC installed on your computer, and then something that will play FLAC files, such as WinAmp. You can also convert FLAC files to Mp3 or WAV files. As far as I know, Quicktime will not play FLAC files. If you are talking about Direct Download - What you see at The Wilco Live Show Archive are files that you can direct download. Think of it as right clicking on a photograph online that you want to keep. All you have to do is click on a show, Autumn Defense - March 15, 2001, for example. Then you will see this: * adefense2001-03-15.txt - 433 b* adefense2001-03-15t01.flac - 13.43 mb* adefense2001-03-15t02.flac - 23.52 mb* adefense2001-03-15t03.flac - 22.56 mb* adefense2001-03-15t04.flac - 19.92 mb* adefense2001-03-15t05.flac - 19.57 mb* adefense2001-03-15t06.flac - 22.50 mb* adefense2001-03-15t07.flac - 12.45 mb* adefense2001-03-15t08.flac - 17.61 mb* adefense2001-03-15t09.flac - 16.43 mb Click on each file, and you will get the Save File message. When you save the file, it will go to wherever you have downloads set to go to on your computer. I would make a folder with the title of the show and date, and set the file downloads to go there. You will need to have FLAC and/or SHN installed on your computer in order to listen to the FLAC and/or SHN files, as well as, something to play them on - such as Winamp.
