Scalzunfield
I had no idea they were even playing or I would have gone. Sad.
Dude
Good show, they played several new songs and closed with another Big Star cover, You Can't Have Me. And Lincoln Hall's a fun venue to see shows in. Even during the mellow vibe of the Autumn Defense set (which John self-effacingly poked fun at), Pat still found room to shred on his Tele. Dude
Also forgot to mention they played an excellent cover of Bob Welch / Fleetwood Mac's Sentimental Lady, and mentioned new album is out early November and that they plan on touring after it comes out.

They do a gorgeous version of that! That's good news about an upcoming album & tour.
Analogman
Wilco’s Stirratt & Sansone To Release New Autumn Defense Album Autumn Defense is a side project of Wilco bassist/co-founder John Stirratt and multi-instrumentalist Pat Sansone. The bandmates will release their fourth full length album titled Once Around, November 9 on Yep Roc Records. Represenitives for the band described songs from the new album as “filled with late ’70s-tinged AM gold, all draped in melodies that seem to have always existed, resulting in songs that feel as though they’ve been floating on clouds, patiently waiting for their turn in the sun.” Stirratt and Sansone will debut the duo's new material at the Solid Sound Festival on Sunday, August 15. Autumn Defense is currently planning an extensive tour of the U.S..
