Anytime.

The charges that have and continue to be levied against Obama, his policies (and by extension, the democratic party) are so fucking irrational, and to a lesser extent, so outright racist, that they hardly deserve a reply. Unfortunately, the electorate, as a whole, is ignorant and irrational, and thus, bullshit such as, “Obama is a socialist and wants to destroy America” is accepted as truth, and any news organization that attempts to sort fact from fiction is slandered with the “liberal media” brush. Like you, part of me would take pleasure in seeing Palin and the rest of her tea party fuck heads elected, if only to expose them for the frauds that they truly are once and for all – but then, the right is so adept at smearing their opponents, they would find a way to blame Palin, et al’s incompetence on liberals (why not, it worked quite well after 8 years of Bush) – and the fuckheaded voters out there would buy that to – which is to say, we’re fucked.

Um...yes you do. If a crossing guard did nothing, people would be pissed. If I did nothing today, my boss would be pissed. When you're supposed to do a job and you don't - especially one like run a country, especially when the economy's in the can - people get pissed. Racist people are people too, so they also get pissed. And since they're racist, it's, like, easy for them to point out his race and stuff.

For someone poo-pooing the intelligence of half the country, it's taking you a while to get up to speed here, bro.

Hmmm...let's see again. I am not insulting half the country. I am only insulting the less than half that isn't really thinking. that doesn't include folks who think we should be attacking the budget deficit, as I have said, I am all for that, as is Obama. And thanks for letting me know that racists are people too. For hundreds of years racists didn't think black people (or Jews or Asians or other ethnicities) were human. I guess we do need a racists civil rights movement.

Obama is doing stuff. People are pissed because he isn't doing enough about the economy (those on the left mostly); the folks on the right want to continue tax cuts for the rich (since Obama has already given tax cuts to everyone else and wants to continue those tax cuts even those in the Bush tax plan...but maybe you don't read about stuff like that.) Those opposed to ARRA (also something Obama did, not just motion) have a point, one I don't agree with, but then plenty of folks called FDR a commie and a traitor to his class and his country.

Really comrade, all you are doing by responding to me is show how ignorant YOU are.....so for that reason I don't want to be accused any longer of calling people ignorant so I am going to stop responding to you. Clearly I don't need to be called up on charges of attacking the disabled. I have spent my life supporting the poor and disabled, I don't that record to be tarnished by attacking someone who obviously can't support themselves. Sorry. I am outta here.

Of course I would like to point out one more thing before I go. The economy was headed south prior to Obama taking office. Economic crashes can't be turned around on a dime. The President doesn't have that kind of power...not now, not ever.

I leave this discussion to folks who are more intelligent than me to continue.

ETA: As soon as I start calling you on your shit, Lou - your overreaching generalizations, saying that "conservatives" are "wedded" to the Tea Partiers and equally false bullshit - you get out of the conversation? And then you pull out all this stuff about racist people needing civil rights? And how you love the disabled? Where the heck did that come from? What ever happened to

Man up!!

I also think it's funny Obama is both accused of doing nothing and destroying the country.

As far as do nothing, he has done a hell of a job keeping more promises he made than most polititicians:

Averting depression - Some estimates state that without the stimulus unemployment could closer to 16%

Bailing out the auto industry the right way (and holding them accountable) instead of just handing them a blank check like Bush would have done.

Health Care which nobody else was able to push through that will pay for itself (regardless of what people are saying).

Removing troops from Iraq - Down to 50,000

Credit Card act

Consumer bureau and other consumer protections

Student loan improvements

Huge investments in renewable energy - Renewable energy use is expected to double by 2012.

Sure, he has spent too much money, but so did Bush with much less to show for it.

Hey, Toyota had a fair amount to do with helping out the U.S. auto industry, too. :lol Credit where credit is due, man.
