cryptique
"Vibes" probably isn't the right word, so instead I'm sending good thoughts to the southern hemisphere...

Hey Froggie...give me a lesson..what is up with the rivialry between in Australia and NZ? Is it all based on Rugby or is there another reason? NZ were talking lot of sh*t about Australia on my trip....just curious I am sure there is more to it but I am not big on Southern Hemisphere history, etc

Honestly I didn't understand half the stuff they were saying anyways.

They laugh at our cricket team, we laugh at their rugby team. We laugh at their flash floods, they laugh at our earthquakes Seriously though Christchurch were still dealing with an earthquake in September and that beautiful city will never be the same. Thanks for your support and best wishes.
buffy3kins
I've never been in an earthquake prone region but live in Kansas with the tornadoes. The pictures look very much like what's left after a twister so I can certainly empathize with the people in New Zealand. My prayers are with them today and in the coming weeks as they recover and rebuild their lives and city.
pillowy star
I found the Kiwi accent very disturbing at first and couldn't understand a single thing. Now, we're trying to practice it at home! Dreeeeeeeeeeeeeeedful! The pictures of Christchurch are devastating. Thinking I've been walking along these now disturbed roads not even 4 months ago in white summer trousers and flip-flops makes me well up. It is such a quaint town with lots of beautiful buildings.......or has been
