mooney
sorry to start a thread on something sort of lame and probably easily answerable, but I've not been 'round here that long....I've seen Wilco live about 7 (or 8?) times, and never seen a "Pieholden Suite" (what does one look like anyway?)...I gather it's not played a ton, right? is it fairly regular and i've just not seen it, or is it indeed essentially rare? thanks. I'm dyin' to see it
calvino
Wilcobase Link Looks like it has been played 24 times. Pretty even mix of Tweedy solo and full band performances.
u2roolz
They played it at Tanglewood in 2008 when they were with the Total Pros to do the horns. It was the only time I've seen it and it was amazing.

jsarnerphoto
I saw it at McCarren Park Pool in Brooklyn (Wilco) and was front-row center for it in D.C. last December (Tweedy). I felt incredibly lucky!
