W(TF)
I have to agree unfortunately. I was reading the Sun article where someone from the Camden pub she liked to frequent was interviewed and saying how sad they were and how much they'd miss her. Can it get any more ironic than that? I wonder how many times they ever cut her off.
Ghost of Electricity
The controversy sold. How much curiosity would a sober Amy Winehouse generate? Will her death stop anyone from profiting from her. In the short term they'll profit more. That's why I'm not sure the Elvis analogy fits here either. Elvis's income had little to do with his addictive lifestyle. I think it could be argued that Amy Winehouse's lifestyle generated a huge chunk of her income.Maybe I'm naive, but I'd like to think that if she had put out another record and it sold well, it would have had something to do with the fact that she was talented and could sing. calvino
Well, of course. As record industry executives reported a surge in sales of the singer's music and speculation swirled about the release of a possible posthumous album, her father Mitch flew in from New York to visit the shrine.
