PopTodd
I have been a huge Meat Puppets fan since I was in high school in the 80's. They were my gateway band into underground rock and I still love them today. Curious to check this out, but don't want to waste my time and money on some poorly written, sensationalist piece of crap.Anyone read it? Thoughts?
Lammycat
Pretty sure it just came out fairly recently. The only other person 'round here, besuides myself, with an interest would likely be NOJ. Dud reads a lot so maybe he's started it.....

In other Puppet news, I recently saw a pic of Cris on their facebook page holding a PBR.....wtf. I really hope he keeps it together. Oh yeah, quit calling me a dud. caliber66
Dud, it would have been much cooler if they had called the book Meat the Puppets.
NoJ
Or tear a page from the 1950s horror movie genre and call it.....The Puppet People.
PopTodd
Editors/Publishers.Probably afraid that it wasn't clear enough who/what the book was about with a title like one of those.

Oil Can Boyd
If I hadn't just finished a book about Yo La Tengo, I'd probably read this right away. I'm sure I'll read it at some point because those guys were pretty important to me for a while.
