PopTodd
Seems like a thing we might all be interested in. Someplace to post links to bands that we find on what might be the most-interesting site on the net for musical diggers like us. Post the link to the album/band, and a RIYL, minimum. An album cover image might be nice, too. Like this: http://baron.bandcamp.com FREE album DL. RIYL: Radiohead, Eno, Joy Division And maybe we could pin this one as a handy reference for folks who are looking for new stuff to check out?

Albert Tatlock
"The Delines are led by vocalist Amy Boone (The Damnations), alongside the keyboard work of Jenny Conlee (The Decemberists) as well as fellow Portlanders Sean Oldham and songwriter/novelist Willy Vlautin (Richmond Fontaine) and on pedal steel, Tucker Jackson (Minus 5). Vlautin is no stranger to critical acclaim in the UK, enjoying cult success and stellar reviews from the like of Uncut, The Observer, The Times and Q Magazine as the frontman of Portland alt-country outfit Richmond Fontaine." http://thedelines.bandcamp.com Few performers can affect me as emotionally as Willy, and I like what I hear of the songs for this project - though I do miss his voice/phrasing. I believe the lead singer filled in for the female vocalist on his High Country project who could not go on tour, and Willy got inspired to write some songs for her. I saw them on that tour, and intend to do so again. He's a lovely humble man to talk to.
NoJ
My boys, The Giving Tree Band, have a lot of live shows available for download on Bandcamp. Sometimes they are free.
