NoJ
Over the course of my life, I've found an amazing array of cool things just laying on the ground-cash, substances, cubit zirconia, music, pron, etc. Most recently I've loaded up on a ton of Austrian Pine wood that someone placed on the curb for pick up/shredding. Anyone have any good ground score stories to share?

Beltmann
When I was 13, I found a $20 bill in a wave pool, and later that same day I found a $10 bill lying on a sidewalk.
lamradio
good ground score stories to share? I scored on the ground once while camping. It was a pretty good ground score. But overall, I'd say ground scoring is overrated.

Magnetized
I found a gold bracelet--really heavy, solid gold--in the backyard of a house I was renting, near the grill. I called the landlord but it wasn't theirs so I kept it. Also a decent sized bag of pot once near a curb as I was walking to my car.
calvino
Found my own wallet once--- on the way to work one morning, it must have dropped out of my pocket in the morning (about 5:15am) and landed on the curb in front of my place when I was living around North Ave and Western in the city - it was still there when I got back home at 3:30 pm. Beltmann
That reminds me of the morning I woke up and had the sinking feeling that I didn't bring my baseball glove home after the previous night's game. This glove was well-worn (12 seasons!) but still a treasured, perfect extension of my shortstop arm. Horrified, I remembered what must have happened... so I raced to the garage and, luckily, found my glove right where I left it--on the roof of my car. I had somehow managed to drive all the way home from the ballpark without the glove ever sliding off the car. I retired that glove a few years later, but still have it. Its replacement is now in its 11th season. Two gloves have steered me through 26 seasons of high school baseball / city league softball, and I'd be more inclined to part with my first-born than one of those gloves. RaspberryJam
A couple of years ago, a friend and I were in Boston for a concert. We went out for drinks and when I took my scarf off I realized I had lost an earring, no idea where. A few drinks later, we were walking about 5 blocks away back toward where we came from. The phone rang, another friend telling us that another friend had had her baby. We stood on the sidewalk for a minute talking on the phone, I looked down, and no shit, there was my missing earring on the ground!
