bböp
I only have my phone with me and I’m in transit trying to get home in time to help out some friends with Record Store Day madness, so I won’t be able to offer a full recounting of this final headlining show of Jeff’s current solo jaunt until later (if needed). But since no one’s posted the setlist here yet, and since tonight was an especially fun show with Jeff playing a couple of Golden Smog tunes with old friend Gary Louris — who I believe now lives, at least part of the year, in North Carolina — as well as singing with support act Ohmme on a couple more, I figure I’ll do at least part of my duty. So, with possibly more details to come, here was the complete setlist as played: Via Chicago (w/harmonica)new song-Drawing From MemoryI Am Trying To Break Your HeartNew MadridAshes Of American Flagsnew song-New Wave TheaterNopePassenger SideRemember The Mountain BedJesus, etc.new song-Let’s Go RainRadio King (w/ Gary Louris on acoustic guitar and backing vocals)Pecan Pie (w/Gary Louris on acoustic guitar and backing vocals)HummingbirdWe’ve Been HadI’m The Man Who Loves You—————————————-MisunderstoodAin’t No Doubt About It (w/Sima Cunningham and Macie Stewart of Ohmme on backing vocals)California Stars (w//Sima Cunningham of Ohmme on acoustic guitar and backing vocals and Macie Stewart of Ohmme on backing vocals)A Shot in the Arm
The Inside of Outside
It makes me happy to hear that Jeff and Gary played a couple of old songs together again. Two of my favorite musicians. Radio King is a classic.
TCP
Via Gary Louris' Twitter (via Troy Zebransky):Really cool! Wish I could have been there.I see Jeff is booked for mostly festivals after the Vic. Here's hoping for a similar west coast tour later this summer maybe!
nalafej
That picture is great and that setlist looks fantastic. Jealous of all those that got to see it.
