Is the Webcast over or am I missing a link?
it just got over about 1/2 hour ago. don't forget wilco tomorrow!
-
watching the raconteurs at http://www.attblueroom.com/music/Lollapalo...ive-webcast.php and i must say, very entertaining
-
its not working for me
-
i see that the tanglewood email confirmations were sent out and that show is after the delaware show. i still haven't got mine for delaware.

don't laugh,
gary pucket and the union gap (first concert, i was a safety patrol in 6th grade, the school took us (just the safetys) on a trip to the steel pier in atlantic city i remember getting a brand new pair of bell bottoms just for the trip and i thought it was just the best and most exciting experience ever. haha)
then i think the next year or not long after i saw badfinger at the steel pier also, that was even better.
alice cooper was my first real concert. saw led zeppelin (2), david bowie, pink floyd, rolling stones, springsteen, neil young, peter gabriel a bunch of times (i used to love him) he put on an awesome show in the early 80's. bob dylan a bunch of times starting in the mid 80s, grateful dead a few times. more but can't remember at the moment.

Even though I have the dvd I always get sucked in when it's on t.v., as I did this afternoon. The "Caravan" by the man in the sparkling jump suit is pretty much my favorite thing on there. I need to get one of those unis, too.
me too, i never get tired of watching it....my favorite version of helpless. i love neil, i fell in love with him when i was 13 or 14, harvest was one of the first albums i bought when it first came out. bobs set is my favorite too. its all good. rick and robbie were so cute back then. (and bob i love him too) fyi, my screename is from a bob song.

i have to say xpn will always be my favorite, it is where i discovered wilco for the first time.
i guess that girl at pier 1 WAS confused, she said she heard about it on xpn so maybe they were just talking about the campout and line that formed for tickets to the aug 10th show. i was just excited to find someone around here who knew who wilco was.
hi maggie hope you can make it!
-
i called xpn twice and i'm just getting the recorded message. this girl seemed to be sincere but then again i found it strange there was no mention of this show anywhere. people are strange.
-
i'm gonna call xpn and find out as soon as kids corner is over.

i was at pier one today and the girl at the counter saw my wilco button on my purse and she said wilco played a surprise show in delaware at the brandywine raceway about 2 weeks ago! (she mentioned it was a tiny little place). i knew nothing about this show, she said the local philly member supported radio station 'wxpn' announced it about 24 hours before it was to happen and that there was a bunch of people who camped out. i used to listen to that station all the time before i got sirius , so i haven't in a long time. i see no mention about this show on the board. after i got over being that i missed the show and knew nothing of it i couldn't believe someone noticed my button and actually knew what it meant and that made me
did anyone around here know about this show?

Do you have Quicktime? If you click on the show it brings it up in your quicktime player. If not you should be able to download a free version of the Apple/Itunes site.
--Mike
it works now, i do have quicktime but earlier when i tried i clicked and nothing happened. i will have to listen tomorrow when i have more time, can't wait.

looks like a beautiful place. i'm so glad its inside, hot and humid with bright sun beating down does not agree with me, it would definately trigger a migraine.

Is there a detailed seating chart for the Opera House? How do you know where your seats are?

I hate to make anybody even more nervous...but you should also know that the venue has it's own pre-sale for members of the The Grand. They have hundreds of members who were each already given the opportunity to purchase up to 4 tix. So this will also greatly reduce the number of tix available for the public on-sale. These tix are also the best seats availabe...so alot of the up front tix are already gone unfortunately.
Although, I received third row seats (not front row) because I was told the band has the rights to the first two rows...so you probably have a shot at the first two rows in the pre-sale.
well, thanks for the info, congrats on scoring great seats. please pray for me.
