i have never heard of any of these bands, except for kiss of course. what i meant was modern day bands but if i had a choice for older it would be neil young, he was my first love. and also my other favorite bob dylan .

casino queen rocks,...this was such a treat to hear live, i didn't get to hear any of the others they streamed recently. i am dead tired but i couldn't miss this. what a great show and i hope jeffs throat issues aren't too serious. i personally love the way he sounds when his voice breaks when he screams,... .

what i like to do is sit for the quiet songs and stand and move around for the louder sing-alongs and rockers. some people like to stand the whole show or sit. if someone in front of me is blocking my view because they are standing i will stand no matter what type song. I WANT TO SEE THE BAND. this is what happened at the tower saturday. i stood and this guy a few rows back was cursing me out telling me to sit down. i didn't sit. after that is when the security guard came along. i think during on and on. so because of all this distracting i couldnt enjoy the song. it was so stupid because as soon as he got everyone to sit down the song was over and everyone stood up again to clap.

(listening to night 5 and its wonderful, i think this is my favorite of all the residency shows)

This was the best concert I've ever been to. I'll elaborate more tomorrow, after some much-needed sleep.

 

I briefly met Jeff not too long after the show, then froze my ass off waiting for the others. I got to say hi to Glenn and Pat and Mikael, and talked to Nels for a little bit. They were all so tired, so it was terrific of them to hang around for a few minutes. I don't know if I missed John or if he hadn't come out before I left, but it was one by then, and I needed to get home. I figured I'd drive for awhile then stop somewhere for the night, but I was so excited that I drove the whole four hours home.

hey maggie, it was nice meeting you, glad you got home ok, man i was tired i don't know how you drove all the way back with no break. i wish i would have stayed to meet the rest of the guys too. i'm so happy i got to meet jeff tho. . what a show.

hmmm, did i see a thread about wilco being on conan tonight a few days ago, i must have read it wrong. oh well. my bad.

i agree with what everyone said also. i wish you guys were coming to the show in philly, my son plays alto sax and this will be his 2nd wilco show.

i plan on doing this because my mission in life is to get a picture with jeff . my son and his friend are coming with me and i am starting to get very excited, its been years since i saw wilco last. can't wait.

i think the closest bar is right around the corner from the venue its a dive but its still somewhere to hang before and after and its very close.

this was great, its interesting to know jeffs favs and tastes in music. i always wondered about that. time for bed, goodnight.
