judging from jeff's "i don't drink, sir" comment and his subsequent rant about the CNN scroll bar and such on the ST dvd, i'd say you're probably shit out of luck.
jeff likes diet coke and last i heard they sell that in bars too. but you are probably right.

thanks for the tips,..sounds easy enough,...i believe there is a little dive bar near where the buses park, i planned on getting there a little early anyway for a pre-show drink or two, who knows maybe the boys might decide to come on in.
-
is it best to leave the show a little early to get over to the bus before they leave or safe to stay till the end? its gonna be real hard to leave while they are playing!
-
i have never tried to do this but have always wanted to after a show. what is the best way to go about it? kinda nervous and shy about it.
-
i wish i could hear jeff sing 'your little world'
-
jeffs first song according to pants elderly,..what a lovely little song this is that i never heard until now, i wonder why jeff never performed it live.

you have a nice voice, enjoyed that.

thats cool, i save all of mine too. i don't have a suitcase full, wow! i was so nervous and excited about getting these tickets this morning i wasn't even thinking about saving the stub. oh well.
-
i agree with jerryspost, i know i cant afford 100 or more a ticket. it should be illegal. its not fair to the true fan. i wish wilco could do something about this.
-
just curious if anyone else used 'ticketfast'. i did. i guess this is the best way since you get your tickets right away. dumb question, i know.
-
/\ sadly, yes. I was lucky enough to catch My Morning Jacket at the TLA a couple years ago.
saw jeff at the TLA once. so great. i love that venue.
-
i guess the days of them playing the TLA or Troc are over
-
i didnt think the electric factory was bigger than the tower. last time wilco played there i was there and was able to walk not run down to the front and get a sweet spot inbetween jeff and john.
-
I would say money grubbing assholes, not smart.
i second that.
-
Lower balcony at the Tower typically has the best sound and sightlines in the room. I say that as a person that's been seeing shows there since 1977.
If it's all "sitters" around you and you're one too you'll love those seats.
i was just gonna ask if those were good seats, that makes me feel better. , thanks!

i got 3 lower balcony seats, i wanted to try for better but was too nervous. i'm happy tho. wow that was stressful

does anyone think it would be better to just go to a ticketmaster outlet?
-
See the "how to fight loneliness" thread. Everything in its right place around here...
thanks, i knew that, not thinking straight
-
maybe it would be better to just go to a ticketmaster outlet?
-
is there a password for the public sale? should i create an account with ticketmaster?
-
if anyone was able to get in for philly and has an extra 3 tickets they want to get rid of i am interested. thank you.

i just can't imagine having a conversation with jeff, i wouldn't know what to say and would feel like such a dork. i know he is very approachable, down to earth and nice to his fans (thats one of the reasons i love him so much) but i am such a fan and i know my stomach will be in knots but i think i will be able to at least ask for a picture and maybe sign something.
