  1. Great songs PopTodd! I think I listened to This Ain't No Race 4 times in a row. Really good stuff.
  2. Wow! Looking forward to both. I hope they do deluxe editions for all the albums.
  3. Thanks. It really is crazy that they took the time to do that for us. I'm using the photo as the wallpaper on my phone. One click away from a little reminder or bringing me back to my "happy place." Dealing with all of the house issues and flooding I find that I click on it a lot! By the way for anyone reading a quick PSA. Buy flood insurance!
  4. I was unsure about posting this. It is my experience from the Austin concert. After letting a friend read it. They said I should. Here it is the way it was written last week. Last week was tough. I had an insurance inspector come out to the house. We don’t have flood insurance but had some other issues with the house that needed to be taken care of. Well, the inspection was disheartening to say the least. I will not say what company but I will say I didn’t feel like I was in good hands. It really was taking a toll on me. I am doing okay but I need my wife and kids to feel like they h
  5. No one has taken me up on the free tickets for someone who flooded or helped someone. If you would like to go see Wilco for free tonight send me a message with your email. The tickets are print at home so you need to be able to print them!
  6. Nobody has taken me up on my offer for free tickets for someone who helped someone or was flooded themselves. So if you want free tickets to tonights show send me a message. They are print at home so you must be able to print the file.
  7. Thanks Gorman for the DVD offer. Wanted to post here and say I'm looking forward to seeing this. I really hope you hit your goal to get the film made. I think kickstarter is an incredible way for people to directly support artist and get things made. I did contribute $5 (Feel Good Package) and hope others do the same. If the situation was different I would gladly contribute more. I really love Jay's album Whatever Happened I Apologize. Also want to check out your Replacements documentary and the upcoming Lydia Loveless doc. Good Luck!
  8. Thanks everyone. Really looking forward to this weekend.
  9. The short version if you don’t want to read it. My house flooded and Wilco’s music means a lot to me. This will probably be way too long and who knows if it will get posted. I usually don’t post on forums. I love to read them but never feel like I have anything to say. But I wanted to say thank God for Wilco and how much music really matters! In 2001 I moved to Texas from Louisiana. My wife was offered a better job and financially it was the right thing to do. Leaving family and friends was tough and anxiety issues that already existed became worse. I found a job working at a music store. Lo
  10. I have two tickets for Austin on October 1. Tickets are First Balcony L1 Row F Seats 104 and 105. Tickets are print at home. Total for both tickets was $121.00. Selling for exactly what I paid $121.00. Thanks.
  11. Read it and loved it so much I purchased the audiobook with The Chet narrating it. I have never been able to get through an audiobook and I am in the middle of my fourth time with this one.

  13. I just went through this. Not because of apartment living but I have kids and like to play late at night. I tried a few tube amps and nothing was low enough. I ended up getting a Super Champ XD. http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Fen...ombo?sku=483075 Yes it is a tube amp but it has amp modeling that I thought would be a turn off. Unfortunately it is the only way for me to get a decent distortion tone late at night.I tried a few different Vox amps and they all went back. Quality just wasn't there. All of them had noise issues I couldn't get past including 2 different Heritage AC15. If yo

  15. I just hope the next one is the Summer Residency!
  16. Wasn't it night 4. The one that was streamed.
  17. I'm loving the stream but it is killing me that I had tickets and couldn't make it.
  18. I am going to Houston! Had tickets to both shows at Tipitina's. My son was sick so I couldn't go to last nights show. Went to leave this morning for night 2 and my wife was called in to work. I live in Houston but wasn't going to be able to attend the Houston show because my wife's sister is getting married Saturday in Austin(Rehearsal Dinner Friday Night). My wife knew how bummed I was and said miss the rehearsal dinner. Checked Ticketmaster even though "sold out". Have a ticket in the balcony. Long story but I'm excited. See you guys there!
  19. Was just on the Tipitina website trying to find pictures of the venue. Noticed they no longer have Wilco listed for the webcast.
