As the resident video guy, I would think that jhamm could give you a hand....

In case this wasn't posted elsewhere, here's Jim DeRogatis' review of Wilco's set, postive (for him): Link

Yeah, I could see that in the video feed -- the camera actually turned to him. Just wondered if anyone knew the back-story.
-
Hey what was up with that kid that security had by the arms and legs taking him to the stage? esue: And TG, if that was you with the Wilco call during war on war; it was awesome! Oh and a last general Q: was it well run overall?

Check the "collar and cuffs".

I think he started working out so that no one would continue to beat him up for his bad stand-up act. Not sure I needed to know that he is a natural redhead.

Boys are predisposed to it. He has had his fair share of scrapes, that's for sure.

Thanks again folks. Got back from the dentist a bit ago; no major damage (biiiig exhale) was found. His lip/mouth is pretty swollen on the left side so it is limiting the already limited number of foods he can eat. 10 days of antibiotics and some rest and he'll be as good as new. Nothing like getting a call 30 minutes after you last see your kid and have someone tell you "he's been injured". Damn, the things that go through your head.

with the "field days" competition of "throwing the bus stop in the creek".

Jake bit me one time then looked up at me -- and I looked at him and said "don't do that again" very sternly. He never did; must've put the fear of god in him
-
Thanks ladies.... He seems OK this am -- swollen, but OK. I talked to his pediatrician who confirmed my instinct to get him to his dentist and forego the trip to the ER for now anyway. I wish this had been the "great outdoors", but this was the freakin' YMCA day camp. I was across the street at Target getting his school supplies having given him a chance to go with me or stay for another hour or so We are going to try an overnight camp next year.... He is such a city kid, he really really needs it.
-
Thanks. I think he'll be OK -- he's sleeping now. I am beginning to calm down. We are taking him out of there, and will likely not do another camp this year. It just isn't worth it. I am not worried about getting the money back. We have a lawsuit should we care to pursue it.

This last one was today. I am beside myself. On the way to the dentist, since he lost a tooth and who knows about the rest of his face

OK I am now operating on plan B here. Jake has had a rough time this summer at camp: 1. kicked in the face by a counselor (accident) 2. sent home with a 102 fever (negligence by camp) 3. hit in the face with a baseball bat (accident) I am in total damage control. I never ever ever ever want him outside my presence again. Ever.
