Jeff talked about the new album tonight in Nashville

Aren't they the same song? -
I'm coming from the other direction (Stillwater), but it looks like it will be above freezing in T-Town most of the day. The snow coming in from the SW will not reach Stillwater until late tonight ... if you get in and get out, then I think you will be okay. Drive careful.
-
Yeah, looks like the weather will hold off until the wee hours Saturday morning. See you there!!!!
-
Well, he does have a pretty good eye for the lens ...
-
DOH! I accidentally added an hour because I'm used to going from Stillwater to Dallas ... 4.5 sounds better.
-
Two ways ... Either north on I-35 to OKC then I-44 turnpike to Tulsa. Probably 5.5 hours depending on weather. The other route is to go to Paris, then north on what turns into the Indian Nation Turnpike (through McAlester, Henryetta, Okmulgee, etc.) to Tulsa. That might be quicker, but it's also through the heart of the areas hit with the really bad weather.

I'm in -- ice be damned!!!!!

Not to hi-jack the thread, but are you going to be making it to Tulsa, David? Good thing it's not this Friday. Ice storm's a comin' ...

I think photography will not be a problem (non-flash, of course). I've taken my camera twice to the Cain's and I spoke with one of the guys there who helped me sort out my "camera issue" at the 2005 Wilco show ... Since Wilco/Jeff's policy is non-flash photography is ok, then it should be fine. And by the way, since it's all WILL CALL, you can pick up your tickets anytime from now until the show, 10 am to 3 pm, or when doors open that night, at 7 pm. Show should start around 8 pm.

To add to the query, it says Glenn is supporting for the Jan. 16-17 shows and Scott McCaughey from Jan. 20-29 ... No mention of support for Tulsa on the 19th. Tour page

Hey, don't kid. I used to have that on cassette back in the day.

That's been my sig line since day one! What an incredible game ... I mentioned the Wilco significance to my wife after the play, along with the brilliant coaching strategery of Jeff Tweedy.

Happy New Year to all! Hope you had a Merry Christmas with you and yours ... Santa was very good to me (again) this year. Part of my plunder included a couple iTunes gift cards. I'm looking for some suggestions on songs to download. I have most (if not all) of the Wilco commercial library, plus numerous demos and live stuff and the like thanks to various VCers and torrents ... so I don't think there are any Wilco items I've missed on iTunes, unless you count the Minus 5 or Golden Smog type projects, which I may cherry-pick. I also have a bunch of Uncle Tupelo, but am missing a handfu

I try to avoid flash shots, but indoors and at night it's a problem. I also use Photoshop to fix red-eye. For the most part, I don't like the red-eye reduction "pre-flash" feature, since it saps battery power. Also, use the sepia or black/white mode ... there's no red-eye in sepiatone! They don't make the Cybershot model like mine anymore (DSC-F707), but you can probably get them on ebay in reconditined or used shape. If the Carl Zeiss lens is free of defects, I'd recommend getting one. F707 - the one I have The newest Sony models that are most like mine include the DSC-R1 (probably m

SHHHHHHH ... NEVER admit to taking bad pics. Only show the good stuff and let people assume you only take really nice photos. My philosophy: Shoot 100, hope for 10 to turn out.

I don't think I'll ever get a handle on "crawling is screw faster lash" ... but oh well. -
Here's a closer look ...
-
It's actually a side-effect from the lamination process ...

In the Bob Edwards interview (free podcast download from the roadcase), Jeff says "illiterate light" is not a negative or prejorative sense (like "God is illiterate"), but means that God transcends language or words. He also says what a cherry ghost is ... -
It's a Sony Cybershot.
