Rhythm & Blues Cruise Wanted to see if any of you have experienced it, know anyone who has or even heard of it. The wife and I have been thinking of going but neither of us have even been on a cruise. If anyone has any general opinions about cruises or stories (good or bad) we'd also love to hear those.

If it's not already obvious, now would be a good time to point out I'm a "glass is half full" kind of guy.

We have a hospital in my city that was sarted in the late 1800's. It's name is St. Anthonys Hospital and it was started by Catholic nuns. They also started the first nursing school. I can't speak for the rest of the country but I have not seen an atheist hospital in my city. It always baffles me when people see the miracle of a babys birth and all the amazing things they go through while growing up and still do not believe there is a God. That has been proof enough for me. I'd rather not argue if there is a God or not. I would just like to think that religion has done more good than harm.

Yes. My point is I believe that religion has done more good than bad. However, I don't believe I'll watch this movie.

Haven't there been a bunch of hospitals created in the name of religion? Are there atheist hospitals? Just asking. Nevermind, I looked it up.

Let's say it is "bent squarely to the left", would that be a bad thing? You know like unhealthy or something?

OK Last week I noticed that the commentators for Monday Night Football get on my frigin' nerves! They sound like a couple of whine bags. I kinda blew it off because I thought maybe it had something to do with them not acknowledging that The Dallas Cowboys are the greatest football team of all time BUT tonight I feel the same way! (and I don't give a rats ass about the Jets or Chargers) I like Tirico but Jaworski and Kornheiser are just plain annoying......to me. So, does anyone else feel this way? Sorry for ranting but I've felt like saying this since the first quarter.

Surgery has come a long way in the last 15/20 years. I've had my appendix removed and my descending colon removed and I've had an intramedullary nail placed in my tibia......twice. I am in the OR everyday with my job and after all this I believe the anesthesia a patient goes through plays a big part in their experience as a whole. For instance, I cried during "A Baby Story" and VH1 "Behind The Music- Blind Melon" right after 2 of my surgeries. Cool thread.

I end up giving around 30%+ of the money I make to the "guvamen" and Obama/Biden thinks that's not patriotic enough?
