Those damn tax cuts! If only we had a tax increase the levees may have stayed together? Most of the levees were built in the 20's (if I'm not mistaken) I agree things were not handled as well as they should have, but come on!

I doubt anyone would have died had the levees not failed. As far as cuba is concerned, I'm sure the citizens would like some help from that government first. Do you think the hurricane was the same category over cuba as it was when it hit NO?

OK. This is for the people living in Austin OR who are familiar with the Stubbs venue- Is it normal for Stubbs to not have anyone scheduled on a night like Saturday? Every night and almost every other place is booked! I getting a little anxious AND another question- If there was going to be a "secret" show.....how the hell would I find out?! (This question is for the veterans who have witnessed a said show.) I'm sorta freaking out. I was expecting a call or PM from JT.

OK. The lady, who came up with the idea to lie, did have insurance and she did own the car involved in the wreck. When my wife called me and explained the situation I said, "Tell the officer whoever has insurance was driving!" My wife is the more sensible thinker (in most cases) and decided to tell the truth. Come to find out the lady owned a house cleaning service and these women were working for her. No lawyer-husband and the license plates were not registered to the car they were on. My wife has a car wreck. The driver of the other vehicle fails to yield the right of way. After getting out and looking at the damage it's soon apparent the driver and passenger do not speak English. Before the police arrive a woman shows up and asks my wife to tell the police officer that she was driving and not the other women. She says if my wife doesn't lie these ladies will be deported. She states, "My husband is an attorney and he says it will be ok." What would you do?

I've got a role for Joaquin.....My balls! He sounded a little like Johnny but I was not "that" impressed. They could have gotten somebody else who looked a little more like him. I had to squint my eyes to fool myself! As for a JT role?...... That kid from almost famous is a dead ringer. (Where does the term "dead ringer" come from?)
