Can anyone shed some light on this? I'm pretty sure it's a Gibson.
I love the pickguard.
I thought he's had that for a while - an old Kay or Silvertone?
-
No, that's your welcome.
um no, it's you're welcome
I would have thought Caliber would have already been on this
-
Seriously, how much would a decent pedalboard (the actual board, not the pedals) cost?
-
I believe the end of the wonderfully spacious solo on "Hell is Chrome", but I may be wrong on that.
you are correct sir
It also works nicely on ALTWYS, though I'm not at all certian Tweedy every uses it for that song
-
He also said that if anyone tried to rush the stage to kiss him he would punch them out. Yikes. It truly seems he will never live out Wilco-dom.
He says that to all the crowds

I'm confused as to how walken is not new. its the least new out of the new songs yeah but its still a new one.
Of course it's a new one. And a good one!

they all seem to be animated to me
Ps - your post gave me a seizure

yeppers. couple of pointers--typically when referring to "low strings" a lot of folks will think you're talking about the thicker strings. Also, be careful when converting a power chord to a full chord, as some may be major (like the one you showed), and some may be minor chords (or a host of others).
Two excellent points
-
Those are your three main inversions of a C chord using all six strings. Which chord you use depends on what key the song is in and how you want it to sound.
Those are very important chord shapes to know for sure, but just to be technical they aren't really inversions.

Thanks.
Thank you sir

can't believe anyone mourning over seat locations-or would pass up tickets because of location!
Have you ever seen a show from of the theater?

since my .Aif files are no good for the VC tracker, I guess I'm still willing to help out. If theres any particular songs someone has to hear right away before a FLAC version gets uploaded to bittorrent, just post it in the thread and ill try and upload it in .mp3
cheers
I for one am fine with an mp3 versio for playing on the computer if yoy're so inclined....

excellent. i am seeing him on sunday and am wondering how long they played?
(i also have broken social scene that night and am hoping to see as much of jay before having to bail)

You think?
I think the new album is good. I think Jay could have laid off some of the production on some tracks for sure. But there's some good material (just skip track 1, which sounds like someone making a parody of an overproduced track)
-
also, was the first song a cover of The Jayhawks' "Dying On The Vine"?
no, different song, although there was a "dying on the vine" line

Was....there.....any....TAPERS!???

Red Epi Casino ("Big Red")
White tolex Peavey amp - logo looks like the transtube series, but front panel said "Classic". Maybe an older 80's Classic 30/50???
MXR Micro Amp
MXR Blue Box
Boss TU2

i'm going to try one of the korg ones (cost $30). i only have an acoustic, or otherwise i'd get a floor tuner.
do this - the few extra bucks are worth it. if you ever play with other people, it can be hard to demand total silence while you try and tune with a GA30.
I've got one that just clamps onto the headstock and picks up the vibes. It's awesome, especially when you're jamming, you can just turn yourself down and tune, but I guess you can do that with the other ones. Anyways, the headstock ones are cool and space-agey. -

Thanks a lot - sounds great.
Funny that Walken started off in the style of the solo acoustic version..
