  1. DVD's really good. As a fan, however, I wish there were more interviews. However, the performances were great. Really love this passage where they show the after effects of performing on the guys' bodies.

  2. As it happens I'm interviewing Mikael today about Pronto and will be throwing in some Wilco questions as well. If anyone would like me to consider posing a question to him, go ahead and enter it here and I'll try and fit it in.

    Thanks!

  3. I wish I would have gotten this e-mail. I'm on the list, too.

I found out through Paste magazine's site.

Good song. And yeah, it's a Dylan cover because he wrote it, but in all honesty the version is pretty much a cover of The Band's live version at The Last Waltz.

  4. As someone who has dealt with some crippling, oftentimes life-threatening panic attacks and depression, it is greatly rewarding to read this full account of Jeff's personal story on his own issues and dilemmas.

I'm glad to finally hear all of the details as well, as he has never said quite as much publicly about his ordeals in one place as he does here. Sure, you could cobble together the pieces from various interviews, concert appearances and in the documentary, but this is great one-stop shopping.

  5. so does anyone have a clip of this? I found out about this from my wife of all people. Who isn't a Wilco fan at all (save for "California Stars") and she said that she thought Jeff was really funny during the interview.

  6. As someone who's had an opportunity to interview four members of the band (Jay B, Pat, John S and Glenn) and who had Mr. Tweedy quote a lengthy passage of a negative review of a solo show of his, I know how over the moon you must feel. This band is really an inspiration to me, Jeff in particular. Very happy for your experience. Nice to see Jeff continues being a down to earth person.

  7. I'm imagining all of their booking goes through their booking agent at High Road and not through Margherita MGMT. I hadn't been on High Road's site in awhile and was amazed at how many clients they have.

  8. it seemed that while people near and farther away were standing, most weren't moving, singing, dancing -- nothing. I think that's where Jeff's frustration was -- they were really laying it out there and the reaction seemed to be a kind of "meh" from the audience -- not at all like the Vic shows or even the last couple Aud. shows. Oh well

I don't know...maybe it was just in your area, but I heard the roar of the crowd constantly. I sang at the top of my lungs throughout. I even clapped.
