  1. So the guy in the van was later on the second plane that crashed????????
  2. I've watched him closely this year... especially in the world juniors. I don't think he has any problem what so ever with his skating (even if skating is a problem, that can be fixed, look at Cody Hodgson from a year ago to now). In my opinion, he seems more promising then Sidney Crosby did. He's absolutely lethal. He broke Gretzky's records in juniours..... 3. "Jailbird" sounds so good to my ears. In fact I'm going to go listen to it right now.
  4. I hear by declare the BOSTON BRUINS the official EASTERN CONFERENCE team of VIA CHICAGO. Anyways... Tonight's the night, yes it is, tonight's the night Tonight's the night, yes it is, tonight's the night. Those were the only lyrics of that song that were fitting, but man, are they fitting. Tonight is the night!!!
  5. Hey Obama, you're suppose to hold onto the leash!!!!
  6. Are you for real? Islanders got Tavares. People forget what a great franchise this once was, I really hope they can turn it around. I got a little worried today when I realized the Kings could potentially land 1st over all... can you imagine Moller, Kopitar, Brown, Boyle, Doughty, Johnson, etc in a few years WITH Tavares? That would be absolutely ridiculous. Woo I can't wait for the draft.
  7. I like the Bruins... and of course, Chara is one of my favorite players in the NHL (former Cougar). That said, this is Greens year and rightly so. I also don't think Thomas is worthy of the Vezina. Mason got 10 shut outs... in his rookie year and single handedly took his team to the playoffs, in one of the toughest divisions in the league. If there's going to be an upset in the west, it will be the Jackets. Nash > Osgood. Mason > Osgood. See what I'm getting at here? If they come out hard, win one of those first two away games, and win at home, they could do something.
  8. That's a good link, thank you! Though I do not agree with your predictions, if that image was yours!!!
  9. When people say "ruf" for "roof".
  10. Booo Cuba is such a nice destination for the rest of the world.
  11. No, at least that's what they were reporting on the Team 1040 last week. The Oakland Seals met the LA Kings once in 1968-69, and that's it, apparently. If anyone can correct me, I will admit being wrong. However, while we're correcting each others spelling, pssssttt, Avs = Avalanche.
  12. That's true. Datsyuk is a great 2-way player... however, I see +/- as more of a team stat. Regardless, how awesome are some of these matches? Montreal vs Bruins... The battle of Pennsylvania, Pittsburgh vs Philly... and for the first time since the days of the Oakland Seals, two Californian teams have met in the playoffs, San Jose and Anaheim! I'm very excited.
  13. Oops. I knew a girl who's last name was Lindstrom, must of mixed it up! Here's the draft lottery chances for those interested. It'll be done live on Tuesday, Versus in the States, TSN in Canada. Personally, even though they are divisional rivals, I'm rooting for Colorado. Tavares would make a good heir to Sakic.
  14. I for one, am against re-releases with bonus tracks (and best-ofs with new tracks). Forcing your fans to dish out cash for something they already once did is an insult. I am, however, not opposed to b-side/rarity/etc compilations, like Dylan's Bootleg Series or Nirvana's terrible "With the Lights Out" box set .
  15. How hilarious is it that Boston and Montreal meet... AGAIN!?!
  16. I'm so stoked. It's been awhile since I could actually enjoy the playoffs this much. The Blues are beating the Avs at the time of this posting, so I'm going to go out on a limb and say they'll get 6th. (EDIT: as per usual, my prediction was correct, Blues clinch 6th place.) East: Boston over Montreal in 6. Washington over Rangers in 6. New Jersey over Carolina in 5. Pittsburgh over Philly in 7. I could see this series going either way. West: San Jose over Anaheim in 7. Anaheim is so hot right now, I think they're the most dangerous team in the bottom 4 of either conference. Detroit over Bl
  17. The Blues have a good team, I really underestimated them this year, probably because I'm unfamiliar with a lot of their roster. However, Chris Mason is a good goalie, former Prince George Cougar. I'm rooting for them, I'd like to see them over the Jackets in the first round... Just glad Anaheim lost, the Ducks are hot right now, though I'm skeptical of how long that will last, maybe they can take Detroit or San Jose out? Horay 300 posts. I'm pretty sure that beats last year. If someone wants to start a playoff topic, I won't be opposed and will lock this one.
  18. Was Osama a writer for The Lone Gunman?!?!?!?!??!?!?!
  19. HORAY! THE CANUCKS CLINCHED THE NORTH WEST! 13 points back from the top in January, and today they beat the Avs to win the North West. Let's take this opportunity to read our predictions from the start of the season and remark. I was just reading the first page and looking at some of the predictions... I thought for sure this would be the year for Phoenix to turn things around, maybe not. I'm surprised to see St. Louis do so well, considering I had such low expectations. Did Sean Avery ruin Dallas? Maybe. It's strange to think that, the Stanley Cup was pretty much decided last year in the Wes
  20. Yeah, wait, what?! How is that possible! Was Ben living a double life? Wouldn't the DI notice that he all of a sudden has a baby but has probably never even been with a woman? There is some time line issues that need to be resolved there, for sure. Questions/things that bug me the most: Faraday? Where are you?! We know the Swan is only in the planning stages (1977) but we've seen him in the Swan when it was being built. Rose? Bernard?! Any other surviving-survivors?! Where are they? Wouldn't they have been traveling along with Sawyer/Miles/Juliet/etc? Why was Dharma food being dropped in 200
  21. Yeah but Widmore left the Island repeatedly, that's why he was banished. Maybe that's why he aged?
  22. There is no "good" or "bad" in this show. It's all different perspectives. The mystery with Ben is not whether he's good or bad, it's what his motivations are. Are they to protect the Island like he claimed with Witmore? Or are his motivations purely about himself? Greed? Revenge? Power?
