Ah, Durham.

I'm turning 40 this weekend. Some days I feel it, others I don't. Definitely don't look it, at least not to the lady at Publix who carded me a couple weeks ago and then laughed and called me babyface when she saw the birthdate on my license. Hey, you either get older or you die. I prefer getting older.

Party pooper.

My brother had a hernia removed his senior year of high school, about 15 years ago. I don't remember him being in too much pain, but I do remember girl after girl coming to visit him at the house. Seriously though, I think he was laid up a week or so but he wasn't allowed to play sports or do anything physical for a couple of months, which for him was the worst part.

I don't understand it either, but what are you going to do about it? The scenario you described above has happened to me at every general admission show I've ever been to. Hell, I saw Rilo Kiley in Minneapolis at First Ave and for the entire show the girls in front of me discussed whether Jenny Lewis had a boob job.

It's still tacky. And a little creepy, too.

There are always going to be rude and inconsiderate people in this world. Unfortunately, that's just the way it is.

Oh yeah, I was but I didn't really know you then. That was the show I had to sit next to that one guy who doesn't post here anymore. Oh and also, the one show where I couldn't see much of anything.

One of these days we need to end up at the same show!
