One of my best friends is a volunteer for the Obama campaign in Atlanta. Oh yeah, and she had voted Republican in every election since she was 18.

Eh, you guys have cupcakes the next 3 weeks or so (hello, Citadel!) so you'll get some wins and pad the stats. It'll be ok. We have a revenge game tomorrow. No way Spurrier is beaten by Vandy two weeks in a row. If that happens, after 30+ years, I will definitely believe in the chicken curse.

No the alternative is to live your life the best way you can and not to try and live up to some impossible standards. I'm in no way perfect, but yeah, I have morals. I haven't killed anyone, cheated on anyone or lied on my taxes nor have I preached to anyone that they should do the same. Live your life the way you want, within the law of the land, or course, and I'll do the same. I certainly don't need some political party telling me I'm wrong one way or the other.

And that's the part I'm having a real problem with.

Not saying anyone lives a perfect life, but when one of your party's mainstays is a platform of family values, it's pretty funny that the presidential candidate has had an affair and his VP nominee has a 17 year old daughter who's pregnant and unmarried. And yes I do see that as being hypocritical.

I'll admit, I don't know much of McCain's history at all, but didn't he and his current wife meet (ie have an affair) when he was married to another woman? Sorry if this is old news, but like I said, keeping up with his life isn't something I've done much of.

Chelsea was ridiculed to no end. She was definitely one strong kid.

I have the same problem with that. Palin knew her unmarried daughter was pregnant yet she chose to accept McCain's offer knowing the poor girl would be crucified on a national stage. Not good judgement, in my opinion, but what do I know? I'm not a mother. I post on a political board mostly full of conservatives and they are all applauding Bristol's decision not to get an abortion. Noone seems to care she's 17 and unmarried, just that 'well at least she didn't kill her baby which is what Obama would want his daughter to do'.

Honestly, I dont know why CJ Spiller hasn't transferred. He's so underutilized it's pathetic. My two cents: Tommy is only around because he beats SC year after year. EIther that or he and Terry Don have something going.
