I could probably write a novel about voting machines and how the feds doled out millions upon millions of $$$ to the states for the state Election Commissions to buy new voting machines a few years ago and how said Commissions had no idea how to spend the money and how they screwed it all up because the feds gave them absolutely no guidance, etc. etc. but I won't.

Home warranties are a sham. After renewing mine this year, I had a problem with my dishwasher. Of course, the actual problem (a drain line) wasn't covered. Same thing regarding a problem with my hot water heater. I'll definitely think twice when the renewal comes up next year.

I probably shouldn't post what I pay in property taxes then.

I forgot you'd told me about this. Congrats again and good luck! I echo the 20% downpayment if you can swing it. I could only afford about 12% but I'm trying to pay more on the principal each month so at some point I can get rid of the mortgage insurance. I have to say whomever came up with that PMI scam is an evil genius. I also echo the part about checking out your neighbors although there's not alot you can do if they sell and some assholes move in. That happened to me and was the main reason I moved again last year.

So is Georgia. Yeah alot of Gamecock fans say the same thing about Clemson but I think that's a pretty moronic statement. Beating Clemson does nothing to gain us respect on a national level like beating Georgia, LSU or Florida does. Clemson who?
