Bruce Springsteen & the E-Street band joined by Tommy Morello of Rage Against the Machine playing an electric version of 'The Ghost of Tom Joad' http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dJT1EdKRF2g I think that this is possibly the most amazing thing I have ever seen or heard. The guitar solo at the end is amazing. The comments sum it up quite well: "I can't recall a more electrifying guest and ANY SHOW. The dude was like a jurist telling you what the story was. I'm humbled."

Would be a good opportunity for them to make up the cancelled UK dates of last year....

I'm certain the cancellations are for a very good reason that the band feel will be of benefit to them and to getting their music out to a bigger audience, sell more records, do bigger tours, etc, etc." What if it isn't though, what if it is purely down to the fact that ticket sales were poor and that they didn't want to / couldn't be arsed with playing to half-empty places across the UK? That shows a lack of respect to fans. At the end of the day, if they came out with something more substantial than conflicting timetables or whatever

"My guess is on poor ticket sales.... " Mine too. They should have booked smaller venues if it is the case, or better publicised the gigs.

Any date in the UK would be good for me. Hopefully they can revisit us soon. Too late for me to organise trips to Europe/Ireland now - especially if they don't go ahead.

The UK venues still knew about this last night, a statement should have been prepared to coincide with the news for the website or venues or whatever.
