  1. Bob Dylan' debut too. My Morning Jacket...a lot of the other stuff mentioned.

i guess it's really just because i don't care for A.M. at all.

  2. just got a used copy of this one. does anyone know if this copy had the slipcase that the american edition is in? i'm just asking because my copy didn't come with a slipcase. also, the UK A Ghost Is Born did come in a slipcase, correct?

thanks in advance for the info.

  3. here's why you could go both ways on that question:

more legitimate, because Box Full Of Secrets contains some officially released stuff, such as B-sides and compilation contributions, etc. the rest of course, is live tracks or outtakes, which are definitely in the same league as the Summerteeth/YHF demos

less legitimate, because distribution of officially released material is illegal, while concert recordings and outtakes aren't subject to that really. recording is even allowed/encouraged. not that i care about that, of course.

  4. You've got to keep a Wilco shirt on at all times...that way when they are all like, "Hey!" you can just point at your shirt and give them a thumbs up and you won't have to turn the Wilco down to have a conversation with them. :thumbup

i've had several people recognize my Wilco shirt (the A Ghost Is Born promotional one). a couple months ago, i saw a guy at work sporting one on casual Friday and we talk about music all the time now. relatively small office too (100 people or so).

  5. 9/27/04. The NorVA (Norfolk, VA). fantastic show. i took advantage of the eat dinner in the back, get in early and get front row deal and it was amazing. also, because i was there so early, i got to shake hands with Jeff before the show. was too nervous to talk to him or get a picture or anything and so i only told him "thanks." however, as you can see from my sig pic, i did get to talk to him and all after the solo show in Charlottesville this year!
