  1. I saw him at the Beacon NYC, right after "Mule Variations" came out (the most $$ I have ever spent, from scalper outside) The entire audiance doing the corus from "innocent when you dream" for the ecoreFreakin awesome, He walked about three feet from me with the bull horn upon his entrance, band amazing, his stage presence unparelled. worth every nickle! Louisville, Ky. are you shittin me, last time I was at the Palace was for my first WILCO show, Great venue!! :blink :thumbup :wub :w00t :dancing :beer

  2. "Pants"

    Talk about them.

I am sure this has been discussed around here before but "slacks" have it all over "trousers"

P.S. I like the four-peice Leroy Bach Post YHF/pre AGIB Spiders Least of all, If I had an I-pod I would smash it aginst the wall

    hugs and kisses :realmad

  3. "Even if it's true, for the love of all things holy and good, please never describe any subsequent new songs as, 'It's kind of like Either Way'.

"Either Way" is BEAUTIFUL.....it has a great, comforting, bluesy feel. I've got my fingers crossed it makes the cut for the next album.

(Just had to throw that in.)

Thanks all to the great, detailed show reviews in Canada!

Top of my list for the new album also, I love that song!

Maybe the sun will SHIIIIIIIIIIINE today!

  4. California Stars

    G D C all day

Caop on 2 btw for cali stars. Check gumbopages. there are a lot of really easy wilco songs (ashes of amer flags).

Is that G D C fingering with the capo on second fret?

  5. . I have been fooling around with BT the last month or so, this is the first show I have been able to burn on CD. (the others a flac files I listen to on my computer) I downloaded a converter last night and have a 30day trial so I am off and running. Heads up I assume Admin is going to tell you this should be posted in "in a future age

  6. I don't believe he has ever sang Hummingbird live WITH a guitar. Was this your first live Wilco show? He sang sans-guitar for a good deal of the post-midnight Madison Square Garden NYE extravaganza ... check out this rock star in his PJ's singing Judas Priest's "Livin After Midnight." :lol I took this from my seat next to the stage. :D

[Really? That's not a put down? Kind of sounds like one to me. But now I firmly believe you have never seen Wilco live before. The only thing that has changed in these guys is their hair, which by the way, look fabulous B) . The guys themselves have the same moves as always.

What if it was my first Wilco show? I thought the purpose of this forum was to discuss what we saw and heard @ the show. Not deal with Elitist condescending music Nazi Bitches like you! I feel so much better!!!!!

I am happy for you that your world can obviously revolve around something so absolutely insignificant (in the over-all scheme of things) as a fucking rock band! No disrespect meant to the boys, I thought they absolutely rocked ass and wanted to throw in my two cents. I thought some of Pat's antics were amusing clearly he the one on stage laying it down every night, who am I to judge him, I would bet he could give a shit what I think. Was this just an opp. to show everyone your clip from MSG?

    Lots of Love

  7. I noticed during hummingbird Jeff had no guitar? I can't ever remember him doing the "front man" thing?

I have never seen him sing without a guitar strapped on? Of course he pulled it off great! The little run in place thing he does. What is the deal with Pat and his antics on stage? The kind of gay run way model/little drummer boy dance? Not puttin him down just noticed he seems to coming WAY out of his shell? Did anyone else notice Nels @ the end of shot in the arm during one of his signature trances he knocked almost all of his guitars off of the rack and onto the floor? This Band is on FIRE :rock :rock :worship
