  1. :lol

Are you Wilco's accountant per chance?

Tweedy is 40. He has worked as a musician for a quarter century. His wife is my age. Last year they took their first family vacation to a place that wasn't Minnesota.

You speak with such amazing arrogance, it makes me laugh.

Do you have the exact address where they vacation?

  2. Welcome to NYC, eh?

Exactly, I lived in NYC for eight years and every crowd was the same. It's almost like you're in NY now and we are not impressed! I don't think it's necessarily representative of the band?

PS exception Grateful Dead MSG :dancing

  3. the video screens were just a few static angles from the lip of the stage. They focused mainly on Jeff and Cline.

Glad to see you weathered the storm and made the drive over, worth it? Hell yeah! I had Tickets to see tweedy solo last year one of the few shows that tour with GK on drums, It was cold as shit had a bad day at work and just did not have it in me(I know it's crazy) blew it off and have regretted it every since. Saw him later that tour (Knoxville) he was great/ no Glenn not the same show

    Oh yeah WAR EAGLE! :thumbup

  4. This isn't meant to be insulting...do you have hearing problems? My mom was there and she's got MASSIVE hearing loss from childhood infections and a lifetime of playing violin professionally, and she put in the high-fidelity earplugs I gave her midway through. I wear the same kind because they protect your ears without destroying the mixture of sound you get, and frankly I wouldn't go to a rock concert without them. I agree this wasn't as ridiculously loud as some I've been to in the past, especially before I decided to start wearing plugs on someone else's recommendation, but I hardly found the volume to be low.

Yeah... My first concerts were The Who in'79 and KISS in '78 soooo.. good chance of some hearing problems, glad you and your Mom had fun at the rock show! I likes my rock LOUD :stunned

  5. Early on he mentioned Cinci being the second stop on "our North American tour", that started in Davenport. (which got some loud boos) Then he joked that it would've been a waste of gas to do Ohio then Iowa THEN Indy. Or something like that. But promised that Cinci would be the first stop "next time".

Apart from that, the Owl, the inebriation and the way back machine ... I think that was all the chit chat.

    Best lines:

About Cinci before Iowa- "That would just be a waste of gas man"

Concerning the Owl "Wrap your mind around THAT reality" :rotfl

Wilco spent some $$$ on lights, the beginning of Side with the Seeds was extremely cool. PKB was kickass, I thought the over all volume was really low? Maybe it was the venue or city ordinance? Overall I left kind of :hmm Don't get me wrong, not a more talented or cohesive band out there. However after INDY I was all

like :D :wub :dance :music :worship :worship :rock :blink :bounce8 :bounce8 :hyper :thumbup :dribble

  6. Three more days. My tickets are about as far away from my hands as they have ever been this close to the show :realmad

Just checked FedEx tracking and it has the wrong destination!! So in short; Iplan to be there but i am nervous :nailbite

  7. i think they are fun to see, Johnny Hickman is a great guitar player and David Lowery has that asshole, sarcastic edge to him. good stuff

Last time I saw them Bowery Ballroom maybe'99 they had the hottest chic playing bass, I hope she is still around? She was great!! But yeah always a good show

You should get there first album "Cracker"

Are you a Camper Van Beethoven fan?

And I assume you are down with the hidden trax on kerosene hat?
