  1. Here's a shot from Ben Harper at the Ryman taken from section 1, Row K seat 4. http://media.photobucket.com/image/ben%20harper%20ryman%20photobucket/jonhasnoh/Ben%2520Harper%2520at%2520the%2520Ryman/029.jpg Here Arcade Fire at the Ryman, even further back under the balcony. Looks like probably row M or N. http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_W8lIZqBOfdQ/TG1MbXWfbQI/AAAAAAAAAX4/GUnpOIZ97xE/s1600/arcadefire.jpg Looks good to me.
  2. Great band. Schubas was empty, but these guys jammed. Amazing album and they pulled it off live with 3 guys. If you like the album check these guys out live.
  3. Good band. I have all 3, but I still like their first ST album the best. Shelter, Hard Lovin', Cardboard Hearts are killer tunes.
  4. I've seen Mudhoney and Super Furry Animals at the Abbey. Nice venue. Some sight lines aren't the best if you get stuck to the side or back, but cool for a small place. I'll be there Saturday night!!!
  5. Could be just where my head is at, but the album is perfect.
  6. Although not Pavement, Malkmus and the Jicks are a great band too. SM, Pig Lib and Face the Truth are all solid. Got a live boot of them at Bonnaroo and there were some new tunes that were cool. SM is getting pretty noodly on guitar, which I like. Can't wait to see what's next for them.
  7. I'm a hardcore Pavement fan and really dig Terror Twilight, but think I'm in the minority as I always read criticis dumping on that album. That last Pavement tour was incredible. Probably the tightest I ever saw the band live. Seeing them play the Hexx live was a life altering experience!!!!! Wowee Zowee is a great album, but so is CRCR. I tend to think of these as the best of the pop period, but for my money Slanted is their defining album.
