at the end of the promo commercials last night, the ones that ran throughout the whole thing, the spot would end on a shot of the island, LOST was big across it and reflecting in the ocean water was an upside down city skyline. Thoughts?

SPOILSSPOILSSPOILS I'm a big fan too, but some of 3 got quite frustrating, i really wanted Locke to take over the whole island, after doing Naomi, he should have slit Ben's throat, and pushed jack down the hill, then ripped his shirt off and cut into his chest (like the indian in Predator) and claimed to be the island's best fried. Then Michael & Walt walk out from behind him, chain kate to Locke's leg (i.e. slave Leia w/jabba) and then shoot off fireworks. That's a cliffhanger. Did I miss something or why did Charlie have to die? Seemed like he did his job and could shut the door fro

Paramount next? http://www.crunchgear.com/2008/01/08/rumor...d-all-but-dead/

New Line also announced they only be Blu Ray, feels like this is gonna get shoved down our throat, like it or not I think that leaves, Dreamworks, Paramount, & Universal with both sides

blockbuster has some "exclusive" movies, not that any of those titles are worth it, but for instance, the Death Proof version at Blockbuster has more special features and a kitchen sink, if that type of thing matters to you. Yes they have many of the same titles, but at least Block has some things only available with them, so maybe thats why

no they don't

I catch up on LOST next, never finished season 3
-
I was late catching up to the second season finale, but if this isn't one of the best shows ever . . . If you've never seen it, do so ASAP. I have two episodes to go in the second season, can't get enough.

Paramount & Dreamworks remain HD I believe, Wal-Mart announced awhile back that they would favor HD DVD, but with Apple announcing at Macworld that they will have blu-ray players in their computers, that puts alot of folks in the blu-ray camp. Blockbuster only has Blu_ray, I dont know what netflix offers. Blu-Ray Board of Directors (For What its Worth)- Apple, Inc. Dell HP Hitachi LG Mitsubishi Electric Panasonic Pioneer Philips Samsung Sharp Sony Sun Microsystems TDK Thomson Twentieth Century Fox Walt Disney Warner Bros.

Where do you fall in this disc debate of whatnot? I'm on the fence, and ultimately don't wanna switch formats again. But the temptation is alive and well. If anyone has one or the other, please share . . .
