Figured I would start a thread since there wasn't one yet for this show. I've seen Jeff solo several times and there was something kind of magical about this set. It was the perfect combination of great setlist, Jeff in good spirits, awesome crowd and beautiful outdoor setting by the river. First, it took place during sunset which is always kind of cool. Second, for a large outdoor festival, the crowd was respectful, hanging on Jeff's every word and lyric. We got 4 new songs (I think?) and the sing-alongs were plentiful. Jeff also regaled us with the story about getting briefly taken in by the

I attended last year and can vouch for its greatness, especially considering it was the festival's first year. Here's a little review I wrote on last year's festivities. http://clture.org/high-waters-debut-joyful-family-affair/ Can't wait to return - they really know how to curate a lineup!

Looks like we are getting an announcement tomorrow morning!! https://twitter.com/RitaHoustonWFUV/status/831940655932903424 "Solid Sound lineup announced tomorrow at 10a on @wfuv! Check out @ilovelucius back in the day @SolidSoundFest 2013. @wfuv @Wilco"

Some predictions (which would also make for a super awesome lineup): Big Thief, Kevin Morby, The Lemon Twigs, Girlpool. Tweedy has sung all of their praises and Morby opened a few shows for Wilco earlier this year.

New Son Volt songs posted here. http://gardenandgun.com/blog/first-listen-new-music-son-volt?utm_source=twitter&utm_medium=socialmedia&utm_campaign=december2016_twitter And found this last line intriguing from Jay: Also, I recently communicated with Jeff about some demos that preceded the [1991] Uncle Tupelo record Still Feel Gone that sounded good enough to see the light of day.

Makes me wonder if it's a late addition because they're playing one of the late night shows around that time, most likely Colbert?

Looks like an early free in-store. Probably not a long set since it seems another show is happening that night? http://ohmyrockness.com/shows/294033-wilco-rough-trade

I picked Star Wars as one of my Top 10 albums of 2015 for the website CLTure. http://clture.org/ten-best-albums-of-2015-by-sean-titone/ Hoping for a Charlotte show in 2016. By my estimation, they haven't played here since 2007?

Here are the album credits - looks like McCaughey is predominantly background or harmony vocals. http://www.discogs.com/Peter-Buck-Warzone-Earth/release/7573285
