Yeah, I didn't think last night could be topped but that was awesome! I think there was probably about a dozen changes to the set list. Other than those mentioned above, Casino Queen came in as did Too Far Apart, Don't Forget the Flowers, Late Greats, Theologians, Shake It Off, Either Way, War on War, Company in My Back....just amazing! They seemed in a great mood - Nels was winding his guitar lead around his neck at one stage and John was doing star jumps during Outtasite (which closed the set)..... Handshake Drugs was awesome tonight and Nels's Impossible Germany solo was again differ

I thought they just played Spiders....? Ah, I see....

Thanks! I only have the first one, so must buy that ASAP....

Yeah, that solo was amazing. Can't remember if it was during that or one of the later songs, Glenn was just grinning at Nels in amazement at what he was laying down. Quite a player! Nice standing salute from Glenn at the start of I'm the Man.... as well! Glenn was in great form last night.

Remember the Mountain Bed - that's a great tune, though I'm ashamed to say I hadn't heard it up until last night? Where's it from? Hopefully we get Poor Places and Via Chicago tonight. Misunderstood would be nice too...

Just got back. Yeah - amazing gig. The new album got a great outing, though hopefully we'll get What Light and ...Patient... tomorrow. Impossible Germany was great. Plenty of tunes from YHF and a final salvo from Being There (Red Eyed and Blue, End of the Century and Outtasite) closed the show. Great to hear War on War and Hummingbird. Shot in the Arm was pretty awesome as was Spiders, of course. Right! Some sleep, I think....

Really looking forward to this. It's possibly the best venue in Ireland they could have played....well, maybe the Olympia just shades it, but this is just great.... -

Yay! Just saw this news by chance on another website. Was there an e-mail sent out by Wilco? My internet was down all weekend... Anyway, all's well that ends well. Likewise standing Wednesday and balcony seats on Thursday... -
Great to hear there's an Irish date coming up.... Yes, there is a God!

Wilco at Electric Picnic in Ireland

Here's the announcement in full.... Nothing Wilco-related yet... Maybe that's a sign they'll play a "proper" gig indoors at some other time....which is a good thing. THE ELECTRIC PICNIC -

Hope they don't play Oxegen. It's a terrible festival; totally overrun with corporate sponsorship and young kids off their faces on whatever. I think the scum of Ireland just get dumped there for the weekend... EP would make more sense as a festival choice for Wilco but, like others have said, ideally an indoor venue such as a couple of nights in the Olympia or Vicar Street. -

That would be fantastic. Given they've no other Irish dates announced yet, this is certainly a possibility and a very welcome one at that. Never been to the "Leccy Piccy" but have heard only good things about it to date. -
