  1. Yeah, this is exactly how I felt. You could see he was slightly awkward... he would pause before saying some words and it seemed to me like he was avoiding swearing. I totally think it's the college kid attitude. Especially on Halloween weekend when everyone is already being a dumbass. The crowd gets less into the music because they're too caught up in the audience being loud. That's what I thought. It was still a great show regardless. I've heard other Tweedy recordings and he seems to be more conversing with the crowd instead of... I guess arguing would be the word. Either way, he still
  2. what's he playing on the long held notes... he moves up on the fretboard (from seeing him live). sounds like a G but not just wondering how he does it... great tab!
  3. crap that's fast, thanks! too bad this school's internet is absolutely terrible! 10 kb/s... argh! gonna be done overnight
  4. If anyone has the recording, I'd appreciate a link to wherever you upload it to.
  5. Wow, what a great show. I've been a fan of Wilco for a few years now and it's pretty much all I listen to (I don't listen to music very often since I am usually playing it). I took a friend of mine with and, though she was new to Wilco, she really enjoyed it. Sunken Treasures 'I AM SO OUT OF TUNE' almost made her cry--it definitely took my breath away to say the least (I went home and learned it as soon as I could) The crowd was okay--a few idiots, some funny dialog with Jeff (Fan calls out song title) JT: 'Is that the name of one of my songs because honestly I forget them all the time' Fan:
  6. Tweedy's a baritone, definately. Still sings higher than me though, but that has nothing to do with it. Thanks for this, too--I feel guilty whenever I capo a song, and I've been using capo 2 on this for a long time.
  7. It's not the same. The piano isn't just chords, it's like a melody thing. Hard to explain... here, I uploaded it for you (Assuming this is legal since the song is unreleased) http://www.toroimerai.net/sixstringsymphon...0places.shn.mp3 Should be an enjoyable experience, even if you can't figure out the chords.
  8. No, that's not it Groo. The one off the demos is like an upbeat piano song that's really fun and awesome. The one you posted is the YHF release. Unfortunately, it's hard to find piano tabs on the internet
  9. Is it? The lyric "One by one I hear the soft words that you whisper/One by one I feel your kisses soft and sweet/One by one I hope you'll say the words to marry/One by one to one by one forever be" throws me, since it's not very post-mortum-ish. That's the lyric that got her anyway. And I also played 'Blower's Daughter' by Damien Rice without taking my eyes of of her the whole time. Seriously, that melts girl's souls (especially since I can sing just like him, and almost as high)

  11. bump because I really want to know too, I love that song.
  12. Hey there. I'm new to these forums and also to Wilco, been listening to them only about 6 months but I am in love with the band. I just bought Kicking Television a week ago and now like, 4 of my friends went out and paid the 30 bucks for it just because they liked listening to it so much. Anyway, I am also a singer/songwriter and I did a few Wilco covers that I'd like y'all to listen to and tell me what you think! They're not great, but they're okay. I've been meaning to do more but I don't know which ones to do. So if you like these, request some more and I'll record em for you. Also, i
