Inge has gotta come down to earth sooner or later, right? He's tearing it up.

It'll be a good series. Wings crash the net enough to be too worried about a hot goaltender. Holmstrom and Franzen like to park in front of the goal. It's hard to keep the pucks out with those two blocking your view... Osgood always makes things interesting though...
Did anyone hear if Ozzie is actually hurt? They're not really talking about it, but he was favoring one leg.

It's like someone who has never been to Madison Wisconsin telling you how to get to the capitol building, and then reviewing the experience. They should really read more and type less in this specific instance.
There's no one reading this that knows what that means.

I am pretty pumped about the Raji pick. Thank the fucking lord they didn't take Crabtree (not that I doubt his talent, but in terms of needs...).
I like this pick too.

The bottom line is that if you listen to psych records sober, you are not getting the full intended effect that was built into the record...
Nevermind, this is even sillier.

Word from Jazzfest: self-titled.
I think every band should do it. And a title means we're that much closer to hearing it.

Unless you ever took those kinds of mind altering substances (LSD, mushrooms) while listening to those records, it's difficult to have a full understanding of a psychedelic live performance or record. The description is there for a reason
That's one of the dumbest statements I've ever read.

A new era begins in Detroit, oh, wait, nope.

The Lions are idiots:
NEW YORK – The Detroit Lions agreed to terms with Georgia quarterback Matthew Stafford on a six-year, $78 million deal that includes an NFL-record $41.7 million guaranteed, sources told Yahoo! Sports on Friday. The deal represents the largest amount of guaranteed money for any player – rookie or veteran – in NFL history, exceeding the $41 million guaranteed that defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth received from Washington at the beginning of free agency this offseason. -

Actually, I clarified on page 2 that I wasn't using Emma as an example of a classic album. But if you would rather ignore that so your post can be as smart-assed as possible, then go right ahead.
Bon-Liver.

I was reading an article that the Lions would have pulled a major coup by trading the #1 pick for Cutler, and would have saved a ton of money in the process. Instead they'll be paying Stafford 4x the amount that Cutler makes, all for an unknown asset.
Stop reminding me WINSTON!

Pretty good article from the Free Press.

Wasn't John so embarrassed by "Cry Baby Cry " he claimed that Paul wrote?

You wouldn't consider a MMJ show in 2009 a double bill?? MMJ did play MSG last year remember.
They could play the moon for all I care, they're still openers for Wilco.
-
well of course I'm a huge MMJ fan and now it would be considered a double bill with MMJ almost as the headliner.
That's ridiculous.
-
Crud.
Enjoying Wilco on your terms!
-
Red Wings.
-
and the other one is "he-ran" or "he-run"
I think its "the-runs"

Not sure what this means exactly but I did have a laugh....
LouieB
Dammit, I hoped someone was going to explain that joke to me too.
-
What about the nuttiness in TTL?!
-
I watched that short documentary on his site. It was alright. I'll get the record when it comes out and hearing that they're opening for wilco means I probably will plan a road trip. I think its a good pairing.

My Dad always says "Tie-ota" when referring to a Toyota, but I don't know what the hell that's about.

Just to catch up, have I got this right:
The Beatles aren't all they're cracked up to be
Blonde on Blonde sucks
Somebody listens to They Might Be Giants
Dinosaur Jr is better than Nirvana
and "For Emma" is a classic album?

Yes she is...think about it
