BEST DAY. Woke up super early to get Radiohead tickets, got 'em, listened to the finalized masters of a new KM project (more on that Monday!!!), interview tomorrow at CBC for All In A Day, nominated for TWO Northern Ontario Music Awards, aaaand I just spent the last 35 minutes talking to one of my songwriting heroes Josh Ritter. Oh yeah and going to see John K. Sampson tonight (another huge songwriting influence obv.). BEST DAY.

That was hell but I got two tickets today for Radiohead in MTL, completing a nice Radiohead and Laura Marling weekend in June.

Our neighbours baked us a cake and it was sitting on our counter, very much upright, with icing etc. etc. and Rory Lewis yelled "IS THIS A RAW CAKE?!?!" Needless to say he's an idiot and we all died of laughter. He then told me to just "chill out" and "not worry about it" and then proceeded to put on Dark Side Of The Moon.This might be one of my favourite series of things he's ever done.

Just saw Melancholia tonight (late I know), but Lars Von Trier is consistently the most interesting and risk taking film makers out there, ace stuff. Oh and Kirsten Dunst totally deserved an Oscar nod for this, but let's not get into how shitty the Oscars are this year.

I've gotten tickets to a lot of tough shows but none were as frustrating as getting these Bruce ones today.
