"I don't really know the difference between the Black Keys and the Black Lips and the Black Dice and the Key Keys and the Key Blacks and the Lip Keys and the Bloop Blaps and the Meep Mrps and the Cars and the Indians and the Neon Indians and the Castles and the Neon Trees and the Tree Keys and the Black Trees and the Key Collective and Skrillex, but it is good to know that the indie darlings called 'The Black Keys' are finally on the cover of Rolling Stone, putting the indie genre on the map."

Hey SAULT STE MARIE THE ANNUAL KALLE MATTSON FESTIVUS SHOW is happening one week from today, but we won't start until Rory pins me down... Should be fun.

K so if you're not already sick of my quasi concert reviews this week... Ryan Adams was absolutely perfect tonight. I don't think I've ever laughed that hard at a show yet have pretty much the most heartbreaking songs ever played right after. (oh yeah and he played almost all of Love Is Hell too). Simply one of the best.

Off to see Ryan Adams tonight at the Winter Garden Theatre, might come back to Ottawa alone because Cayllan is so excited...
-
Kyle, Cayllan and I are celebrating the craziest week ever for KM by going to see Prince tonight for $25. Prettyyyyyyy pretty good.

Just saw "Martha Marcy May Marlene" and it was one the best (and supremely messed up) movies of the year. Highly recommended.

I just went grocery shopping at noon on a Monday and it was FILLED with Ma's, and I thought of you Joe Chiverelli.

"Last night I saw some guys in masks smashing pumpkins and keying cars. I was too scared to do anything about it." - Rory Lewis
